Chapter 6-Missing home

*4 days later*

The first place we were touring was St Lousian and this place had sold out within 3 hours. We had all decided to go up there a day early so we could practice on the stage and get everything sorted. We were doing 3 concerts here and then we would move on to the next place.

We finally got to the hotel and put our bags in our rooms then everyone rushed to the stage to prepare to practice. After out oval warm up and everything technical was set up we got our mic's on and did a full rehearsals. All together the concert was 1 hour and 15 minuets long. With Shawn doing most of his songs from his new album including his new iTunes released 'Life of the party', us doing some covers and our some 'Break free' and Shawn's and our new collaboration song 'Stay with me' it was a stressful time and we had to make sure we didn't drama peg out voices.

Matthew had even talked to us about being our manager as well. He told us he could see us getting big in the future and he wanted to help us getting our dream. We would be seeing a lot more of Shawn and May even move out here once we are done with our second year of college and have graduated.

We had finished rehearsals around 7 o'clock and we all headed out for a bit to eat.

"So Eva is this what you want to do in the future, like all of this touring and singing business?" Sara asked me, she was one of the big organisers of this tourn, she was kind if like the mother in this team, I felt like I could talk to her about everything.

"Yeah!! I've been wanting to be a singer ever since 4th grade and then when I met Emily in 8th grade and she could sing too we wanted to sing together. So yeah I guess it's always been my dream, and now it's finally coming true" I said to her while playing around with my food.

We all talked for a couple of hours and by 9 o'clock we all thought it would be best if we went to sleep early to be ready for tomorrow.

*tour day*

We woke up at around 8:30, showered, got ready and headed towards Shawn's room too see if he wanted to come and get some breakfast.

We were room 108 and he was 103 so it was literally a couple of doors down. We knocked on his door and he opened, he clearly hadn't gotten ready as he was still in his pjs, his hair was all over the place and he had a tooth brush in his mouth.

We laughed and asked him if he wanted to come and get breakfast with us.

He clearly couldn't reply with a toothbrush in his mouth so he quickly ran to the bathroom to put his tooth brush back.

"Ah sorry girls, as you can see I'm very in organised this morning and I've literally just woken up. I'll just meet you down there in bag out half an hour once I've showered and gotten ready"

"Hahaha okay! See you in a bit" Emily said while we both waved and made our way down to the canteen.

To our surprise half of the team was still sleeping. We walked into the canteen and Sara signalled to us to go and still next to her. We got some toast and cereal and took in over to the table where about 13 of the team were sitting. There was loads of coffee and paper work scattered over the tables and we had to make room just to out our plates down.

"This is a lot of paper work hahah" I said while sticking a piece of toast in my mouth

Sara laughed while replying "yeahhh, there's so much work to do just for one concert. And half of the team are still sleeping so it's down to us to finish the last small things.

"Do you need any help?" Emily offered while sipping her tea.

"Thanks girls but I think we've got it. There's not much more to do now so you just eat your breakfast! We will be having a run of the concert at 1:30 and that should finish around 3 of everything goes according to plan. The we will go for lunch and plan to be back here for around 4:45, make up is at 5:15 and hair is at 5:45 and then you will have to be in costume by 6:15 as the as the gates open to the fans at 6:30. The show will then start at 7 and hopefully be finished by 8:30 o'clock."

"Wow, that's a lot to remember" I said in a nervousness tone. I was super scared! Here was so much to remember, what if I was late and then that messed up the whole show!? Or I forgot a line if the song? Or I fell on stage.

"Don't worry girls! I've just text you over your schedule for everything and also Maxine will be with you 24/7 making sure you're okay. You have nothing to worry about! And if a show does go wrong at some point, don't stress over it because we have loads more concerts for you to make it better so don't worry!! Just give it your all and you'll be fine!!" Sara was so kind, she made Emily and I feel like we were okay whenever we were stressed or had doubts.

It was now 10 o'clock and most of the team had woken up and were coming down for breakfast one by one.

We got asked by nearly everyone if we were excited, and they told us how I. The first show of most tours something goes wrong.

Emily and I made it back to our hotel and we called our moms as we haven't seen them for over a week!! I facetimed my mom from my room while Emily facetimed hers in the other room.

"HEY MOM!!! I miss you and Jeremy so much!! Is dad home yet? Have I missed much??"

"Hey Eva! Aw we miss you too, Jeremy is up playing his xbox but he's been asking about you a lot, he said he would text you later for a catch up!!! Yes dad got back last night around about 4am so he's still sleeping atm!! You haven't missed much at all, it's been so quiet without you around here! Aw I miss you so much!! We are planning on coming to see one of your concerts when you perform closer to home!! Jeremy and Grama have been asking a lot about when hey can come and see a concert!!"

"Hahaha okay well make sure he texts me before my concert because I will probably be too tired to talk after it, or he can call me tomorrow morning!! Oh cool!! Tell dad too call me tomorrow too because I haven't spoken to him in nearly a week and a half! I miss you too mom!! Yeah there will be a couple of concerts closer to home so you have to come and see it and meet all of the team!! Everyone's so lovely they have really welcomed us into their family! And I think Emily likes Shawn so I can see that something's going to start happening between them pretty soon!!"

"Wow it sounds like a lot has happened in this last week!! It sounds like your enjoying yourself so I'm glad to hear it!! If you ever need me at any time at all just call!! I love you very much and miss you a lot!! See you soon honey!!"

"Yeah a lot has happened!! I love it!! Okay mom! I love and miss you too, see you soon!! Bye bye"

It was SOO good to see my moms face, a week without her hS been quite hard! I. Is mom dad and Jeremy a lot.

Emily came out of the bath room with tears down her face.

"EM WHATS HAPPENED!?!" I said really worried.

"Oh nothing, just seeing my moms face made me realise how much I miss her"

"Don't worry em, you'll see her real soon! And think about how much fun these next couple of months are going to be!!" I said to her while hugging her tight.

"Yeah your right" she wiped away the tears and we pulled out my laptop and loved onto Facebook to see what was happening with our friends.

We had loads of notifications of friends and family posting on our walls saying good luck and how they're all booking tickets to come and see us. It was so nice that everyone supported us. We had a lot of messages from fans telling us how they loved us and how they hope to meet us in the concert.

We then checked twitter and to our surprise we both gained another 400K followers. This was amazing! We had a lot of mentions as well from fans expressing their love and obviously the few hate comments but we tried to ignore them.
