Chapter 12- Breathless

"Okay I'll count, you all have 100 seconds. Only this floor and the floor below us. Someone count with me so it will be easier to find people" Shawn insisted.

Obviously Emily was the one to stay.

"Oh and it's hide and seek touch!! 1...2...3..." Shawn began to count.

We all ran separate ways and before I knew it I was on my own running down the corridor, I didn't know where to hide. I think I had ran up and down both floors at least 3 times each.

"Shit shit shit" I said to myself.

I ran up the corridor one more time until I felt arms grab my waist and pull me into a small room.

It was Cameron.

It was the janitors room. Super small so there was hardly any room. We were standing so close our noses were practically touching. His hands were around my waist keeping me close. We didn't say anything just stared into each other's eyes.

"Hi" he said

I quickly put my hand over his mouth. And pointed towards the door. I nearly started laughing so I had to put my other hand over my mouth. We could hear foot steps running up and down the corridor and we knew they were going to find us soon enough.

I signalled for us to go out so I slowly pulled away and opened the door enough for me to check if the cost was clear and before I knew it Cameron had pulled me back.

"Cameron if we stay here we are going to get caught, I hate loosing" I laughed.

He looked at me and started laughing.

We stopped laughing eventually and again we heard foot steps running past the door.

"Camer-"

Before I knew it Cameron had pulled my waist in and his lips collided with mine. My hands slid around his neck playing with his hair while his hands tightened around my waist pulling me in further.

This wasn't like any other kiss I had ever had before. This was passionate. Like it meant something.

"AHAAA FOUND YA!!!" Emily shouted opening the door.

Cameron and I slowly pulled our lips away. Keeping eye contact. I was breathless. We didn't even acknowledged that Emily was there.

Eventually we both slowly looked at her and she just stood there.

"Oh, I, I, um, okay I'll just go and find Lox" she said with the widest eyes while closing the door quickly.

Cameron and I just stared into each other's eyes. His arms still wrapped around my waist and my hands on hi super arms.

"What was the for?" I said, still breathless.

"I don't know, it just felt right" he said

I smiled and he kissed my forehead pulling me in for a hug.

There was still so much he doesn't know about me. If I tell him, it might ruin this whole thing, what even is this? Does this mean he likes me?

So many questions started running through my mind I didn't know what to do. Maybe I'll ask him how he feels in a couple of days.

We walked out of the room in complete silent. It wasn't awkward. It was nice. I looked at him and he looked back at me, smiled, put his arm around me, and kissed my fore head.

We went back up to the top floor and everyone was sitting on the sofa. They stared at us. Until Nash started cheering and Carter got up and did the kissing thing where you turn around and rub your hands on your back.
