Sarah's POV
The three of us were inside the church, everyone wearing black dresses and suits. I was standing in front of the two caskets. They were both such wonderful people, but their life was taken away within a matter of seconds.
" Mrs. Montgomery! " I scream as a figure behind her slits her throat with a knife, leaving her body to fall right next to her husband's. The figure looked at me and immediately left through the back door. I screamed again, my high-pitched shrieks filling the cold house with my voice as I fall to the floor, my knees hitting the hard wood.
" Sarah " Casey places her hand on my shoulder, knocking me back into reality. Her eyes were red from crying last night, and her makeup concealed her dark circles.
" I'm so sorry " I quietly speak as I engulf her into a hug. Liam walked through the church door. He looked over at our small group and chose to give us some space as he sat down on a nearby bench.
" You can go and talk to him if you want " Casey looks over at Victoria, still sniffling a little. She just remained silent and pulled us into a small group hug.
" It's ok, I'll talk to him later " She looked over at him with a weak smile. Liam nodded in understanding.
The three of us sat down in the front row, listening to people who were giving their eulogies. I looked over at Casey, it was about to be her turn, getting the last speech before everyone would leave the church.
" You'll do great Casey " Victoria whispered as she got up from her seat and went up to the front, a piece of paper in her hand.
She started to say her speech. Everyone was looking at her with remorse in their eyes, she was the girl, who lost both of her parents and happiness, in one night.
Victoria held my hand tight, knowing that I was very sensitive to these types of topic. I couldn't help but internally scream as those flashbacks were running fresh through my mind, but instead I cringed before looking up to see Casey firmly say her eulogy.
" Sarah, look ... " Victoria whispered as she turned her head back to the back of the church. Over there was a boy with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was standing, looking directly at Casey, while formally wearing a tux.
" No, not now " I whisper back in shock.
" Why is he here? He hasn't showed his face in two years after he left Casey without saying a word " Victoria whisper-screams.
Casey was still focused on her speech to notice her ex standing in the back of the building. Victoria nudged her head towards the boy.
" Someone needs to tell him to leave before Casey sees him " She looked at me with her blue-grey eyes. I gulped before standing up, but it was too late.
" Niall ... " Casey finishes her speech with a name she hasn't said in years. The church turned to look over at the Irish boy, also shocked.

" Why are you here? Get out! " Casey shrieks as Niall followed us back to her empty house. The police were still inside, investigating the crime scene as they dusted the walls for fingerprints and scanned the living room.
" Casey, just let me explain " Niall sighed and tried to place his hand on her shoulder, but she smacked it away.
" Explain what? The fact that you left me two years ago and just suddenly decided to show up at my parent's funeral " Casey shouts in frustration, her fingers tugging at her strands of dark hair.
