Chapter 1: The Transferee

In 2018, in fictional San Lucas University, there's a kind, pretty and bright college student named Katarina Villaroel. She was transferee from other school on her province. She has best friend, Nico, a skinny and clumsy but he's kind and gentle too.

"We are so excited and nervous to meet new friends here. I hope a good one. Nico, what is your plan in a first day?" Katarina asked

"Meeting pretty girls, of course." Nico said while he looking on the women passing through the hallway.

Katarina smacked Nico slightly on face.

''Instead focusing yourself on girls, why don't you fill up your registration forms and list all your subjects for first semester." Katarina said in a friendly way of advising.

"Ok, I''ll go but wait for me. I never used to eat on a canteen alone". Nico said

"I will see you on canteen".Katarina said with a smile.

Katarina wandering around the university to memorize the location of classrooms, canteens and other buildings to avoid getting lost in case finding their classrooms on school days. Until she was bumped by old professor.

Katarina's files for registration are fell on the floor and she tried to pick them while they flew away by wind.

''Sorry, sir. I didn't mean to. I never look in my way. I am just want to wandering around." Katarina apologized sincerely to old professor.

But instead, old professor is just staring at her in perverted way.

"Sir, are you ok?". Katarina asked him nervously.

"Oh, I'm fine. I am struck by your beauty. I never seen such beautiful woman".(His face became sweaty and he wipe his sweat on his face with his handkerchief.)

"Oh, thank you sir." (Katarina's face became tomato-like colored)

"So, see you soon." Old professor just left hurriedly.

Katarina was thinking that this is her first time someone told her she is beautiful. When she was little girl, her classmates always makes fun of her because of being weirdo until she met Nico, who serves as protector from her bullies even Nico is skinny and clumsy.

In the canteen, Nico and Katarina are eating their food. Everyone are staring at Katarina. Katarina wondered why they staring at her.

"Nico, look at them. I think they are staring at me. Do you think why?" Katarina asked Nico.

"Come on, Katarina. We are just new here,that's why." Nico explained with his mouth full of food he was eating.

"Maybe you are right." Katarina said while smiling.

After eating, Katarina wants to pee. So, she is going to comfort room. While she peeing, she heard three girls conversing.

"Let me guess, there's another transferee in our unversity." first girl said (She putting make-up on her face)

"Why? Is there a problem about being a transferee?." second girl said.

"Have you heard the story? This university is a cursed." first girl answered

"University is a cursed?No way!" third girl opposed her.

"Have you notice? Every pretty girls are missing and never been found anywhere. The first victim was missing for 20 years. She is the most beautiful student in our university." first girl continue to tell the story.

"So, that sounds like Snow White's story." second girl said.

Afterthree girls left the comfort room, Katarina came out from cubicle nervously.She thinks that the reason why everyone staring at her. First, old professorand recently, all students in a canteen. She went home with Nico
