A Promise: BTS X READER

Part 11

You explain how you saw a flash, but didn't see who was behind it. You also tell them that your sister is following the person who took the picture and is going to message them to take it down.

The boys apologize that you were involved in something that only happened because of them, and you discuss what you could do.

After you've finished talking, Jimin offers to drive you home. You take him up on his offer.

You walk out to his car. He opens the door for you and softly places his hand on your back as you get in. He closes it and goes over to driver's side and gets in.

The first few moments are silent. You glance at him as he drives -- he seems so focused and serious. But then he glances at you and you quickly jerk your head the other direction. He laughs quietly and turns to face the road again.

"I noticed tension between you and Yoongi," He says, "Did something happen between you two?"

"What? No, nothing happened." You fib.

He believes it. "Ok. He'll warm up to you. I promise." He reaches over to squeeze your thigh to comfort you, and he keeps his hand there.

Your cheeks heat up. By simply touching, he sends shivers all over your body. "Turn right here." You say as you near your house.

After he drives up to your house, he puts the car in park and turns to face you. He takes your hands in his and looks into your eyes. "Will you go on a second date with me? There's a fare nearby and it's open tomorrow."

"I really want to. But how do you know what happened won't happen again? I'm not even worried about myself, I'm no one. It's you I'm worried about."

The moment you say you're no one, Jimin squeezes your hands as if to disagree, but waits for you to finish what you're saying, "Y/n, you're not no one." He leans in closer to your face, "You're special -- to me, to your sister, to your parents. And don't worry about anything happening. I'll take care of it. Just make sure you bring a mask. I'll keep you safe." He gives you an eskimo kiss and then pulls away, but still holds your hand. "So will you go with me?"

"Of course I'll go with you," You beam. "I can't wait."

He smiles back. "I'll pick you up at noon."

"Okay. Get back to the hotel safe, ok?"

He tucks a loose strand of hair behind your ear, "I will. Don't worry."

"Ok." You give a small smile and then get of the car.

As you walk up to the doorstep, you turn around and wave to him. He waves back, smiling at you. You open the door and as you walk in, and you hear the sound the car engine start up and then him driving away.

Once you're inside, you can't resist from jumping up and down and squealing. You have another date with Jimin tomorrow. You're even more excited for this date than the first one.
