Chapter 2- It's Time to Move On

~Lily'sPOV

I sit up in my room because Harry is downstairs. I've been trying to avoid him ever since we broke up. It makes it kinda hard since we live in the same house. Its been about 2 weeks since we broke up. Its still really hard though.

Suddenly I get a text message on my phone.

Ashton:

Lily! Come outside! I have a surprise for you! ;)

I rush downstairs managing to make it out the door without Harry noticing me

When I get out side I see Ashton holding flowers and the rest of 5 Seconds of Summer behind him, with guitars and everything.

"Guys? What are you doing here?" I ask being so confused.
"Just listen Lily." Ashton says as he goes to sit on his portable drum thingy.

"You call me up. Its like a broken record. Saying that your heart hurts. That you'll never get over him getting over you. And you end up crying. And I end up lieing 'Cause I'm just a sucker for anything that you do.
And when the phone call finally ends you say 'Thanks for being a friend' and we're going in circles again and again

"Lily." Luke walks over to me. "Ashton wrote that for you."
"Yeah Lily." Michael is next to come over. "He really likes you." I begin to blush.
"Lily" Calum starts. "Harry hurt you. Its time to move on."
I look over at Ashton and walk over to him.
"Ashton. You really do like me? Really like me?"
"Yes..." He says nervously "Will.. You.. Uh.."
"Be your girlfriend?" I finish.
He shakes his head yes.
"Yes!" I jump into his arms to give him a hug.
Maybe things will be different with Ashton.

~Harry'sPOV

I stare out the window through the cracks in the blinds.
She really said yes to be his girlfriend... She really did like him.
Whatever. I broke up with her. Its time for me to move on too.
But I just can't... SNAP OUT OF IT STYLES! YOU BROKE UP WITH HER! FORGET ABOUT HER!

Okay... I'm good....

~Ashton'sPOV

"I'm so glad you said yes!" Ashton says spinning me around.
"Okay Ashton I know your happy but please but me down!" She screams
"Sorry Lily." I scratch the back of my head after I put her down.
"Its alright." She laughs
"I know the perfect first date for us!"
"Look Ashton.. I know you're happy and believe me I am too, but I just can't go today. I'm to busy today. But tomorrow. I promise. I gotta get inside." She kisses my cheek. "Bye Ashton." "Bye Guys"
After she goes inside I say, "Wow. She's amazing." "Lets go guys." Luke says.

~Lily'sPOV

I like Ashton, I really do, but I know I should be over Harry, but I'm not. I grab my journal and start writing some stuff in it.

"Like a first love, my one and only true love. Wasn't it written all over my face? I loved you like you loved me, Like something pure and holy. Like something that can never be replaced."

Well, now that I'm with Ashton... Looks like my life is changing. I just hope everyone else is having better days than me right now. Time to start a new chapter to my life.
