Chapter 3- First Date and Forgetting

~Lily'sPOV

"Please Jannice! You have to come with me! You and and Liam! Please!" I beg Jannice
"I don't know Lily."
"Come on! Its mine and Ashton's first date. I can't do it alone..."
"Alright fine. But I have to ask Liam."
"No need. I already asked him. He said yes." I say prancing to my closet.

I try to find a really cute outfit. I find matching accessories and put my hair in a bun.

"How do I look Jannice?" I ask as I turn around so she can see me.
"Wow. You look amazing!" She says jumping up.
"Thanks" I smile "Now go get Liam so we can go."

We arrive at Starbucks and I immediately spot Ashton.
"Hey!" I say waving to him and I walk up and give him a hug. "I hope you don't mind that I brought Jannice and Liam."
"No, its fine. Lets go inside"
"Jannice, you and Lily go. I need to talk to Ashton for a minuet." Liam says.
We follow his orders and get a table for the 4 of us.

~Ashton'sPOV

"Whats up Liam?" I ask
"I know we don't know each other that well, but Lily is like my little sister. She's like all of One Direction's little sister, you hurt her, and you're dead. Its bad enough she has to deal with the heartbreak of loosing Harry. Don't mess this up. Got it?"
"Yes. I got it." I respond being kinda scared.

We head inside and sit across from our girlfriends.

"Are you okay Lily?" I ask. She doesn't seem to be her normal happy self.
"What? Oh yeah.. Uh. I'm fine" She responds
"Hey! You wanna go do some Karaoke? No one is using it." I ask Lily very hopeful.
"I don't know Ashton." She says nervously.
"Come on!" I jump up and pull her over to the machine.

"I know you like Country music and this is my favorite!" I tell her and the music starts playing and her face lights up

Lily: Review Crosses, railroad ties oh, Hail Marys Friday nights heartbeat baby, low-beam lights, God I miss when you were mine
Both: Back when that song was a song I could sing along without thinking bout you every time it came on every beat, every line, every word, every time. When a road was a road I could roll on though without wishing that empty seat was you, Money was gas, dreams were dust, love was fast and we were us.
Ashton: Shotgun sunset a cool mint kiss. Backseat promise, breaking it. Floorboard feeling, County lines. God I miss when you were mine
Both: Back when that song was a song I could sing along without thinking bout you every time it came on every beat, every line, every word, every time. When a road was a road I could roll on though without wishing that empty seat was you, Money was gas, dreams were dust, love was fast and we were us.
Ashton: In a sleepy town, just jumping in. Far too young to know that summers end
Lily: We were us, we can't go back It's what it is, but God I miss
Both: Back when that song was a song I could sing along without thinking bout you every time it came on every beat, every line, every word, every time. When a road was a road I could roll on though without wishing that empty seat was you, Money was gas, dreams were dust, love was fast and we were us.
Lily: Every beat, every line, every word, every single time
Ashton: I just close my eyes and you're riding shotgun You and me baby on the run
Lily: I miss you baby. I can feel your hear beat baby

We both jump off the little stage and head back to our table while we get a whole lot of applause.

"That was awesome!" Lily says with a huge smile. "You guys have to do it do!" She says referring to Liam and Jannice
"Oh no! We're good!" Jannice says. "Yeah maybe some other time" Liam laughs

~Lily'sPOV

That song reminded me to much of Harry.... Gosh I just can't get over it....

"Jannice can I talk to you... In private please?" I ask her
"Yeah sure." We both walk to the bathroom.
"I just can't do it! I can't get over Harry! I don't know what to do Jan!" I start to freak out.
"First of all calm down" She grabs my shoulders. "Now listen, this is your first date with Ashton. It may seem a little strange. But seriously, its time to forget about Harry. You may have thoughts every now and then, but its best to try and forget about him as much as you can."
"Alright. You're right. I'll try" We go back out to our boyfriends
"Is everything alright?" Ashton asks worriedly.
"Everything's fine Ash. Look I gotta get going. I had a real fun time Ashton. Can't wait for the second date" I smile real big and give Ashton a kiss on the cheek. "Bye guys."

Its time to forget. And forgetting means... Song writing!
