A Shocking Return to Her Life .........
Her life was quite mixed up, it was not how she could of thought it was going to be like. She never expected to be where she was, but here she sat in her best outfit waiting for the Judge to pronounce her sentence. She had not cared that she had by foul means taken a person's life, but her reason of self defence had been almost laughed out of the court she had even seen the twelve just men of the jury laugh to themselves. It had been in cold blood nothing more or less, she had seen it as getting rid of vermin he had definitely earned that title, he had thought that the dagger in her hand would stay where it was though it was pointing right towards his stomach. Lucinda didn't regret her actions, now they / she was free.
She was nothing but a slip of a girl petrified of her own shadow, he had made sure of that if he stamped his foot he saw her body shake in fear. But the boy had been so much easier to handle by fear, he had threatened his sister's life or the other methods he used to control him. But he had now tired of the boy so he had been easy to pass him onto his friends as a down payment for the debt he owed them, full payment was the girl in their clutches. Which he knew would be harder to handle, he had put it about that Tom had runaway the slump of her shoulders and the tears in her eyes, let him know she believed him, soon she would be on his side. He had been truly warned not to touch her from now on or he would face the consequences, they would take her from him he would not be paid. There was one night that was all it took, he had started to become friends with her he had even gone out looking for her missing brother. She had been so upset about where Tom was that he had made her a hot drink with a bit extra to make her relax. She had fallen asleep on the sofa through being so tired, he carried her up the stairs the smell of her was intoxicating to his senses. He laid her gently on her bed his fingers itched to take her but he knew, that no one outside of this room would know. He slowly took off her clothing, in her sleep she murmured a very soft sound. As he looked down at her he felt desire rise up inside, he could no longer deny what was his to have. She woke up finding herself alone in her bed, she couldn't remember getting herself to bed nor getting herself undressed she found that someone had done that for her, the only other person in the house was Dave. Since she had lost her Mother and then Tom had runaway, he had taken over her life, but in a strange way since Tom had gone he had left her alone. There had been times when he had threatened her to take her, he had not followed up with his threat. But she was not sure of last night, she must have been so tired not to remember anything. A few days later she had found out to her horror, what had happened to Tom she had argued with Dave over something so trivial but it had turned into something that the outcome had been he had taunted her about what he had done to Tom, he had also forced himself on her. Forgetting his orders not to hurt her in any way, he had slapped her face her head snapped back and forth, he had taken his revenge in the only way he knew. Dragging her almost by her hair he had flung her like a rag doll in her bedroom when he had finished with her.
The Judge had returned, they all stood up in the court. There was a banging on the locked door of the court as one they all looked towards the Judge waiting to see if he gave his permission to have the door opened, he nodded his head.
The door opened, through it came a ghost of her past. Tom came into the court he was flanked either side by a Policeman, he looked scruffy, he had changed so much Lucy did not recognise him at first. He had been missing for over a year, to see him on the very day that she was to find out her fate after the death of Dave.
