Want!

You are so lost

You don't know what to do any more

No matter how much you tell yourself you don't want to fall in love again,

You still want to!

You still want to have that feeling!

The feeling of loving and being loved.

You know no relationship works out for you,

You know every guy you meet will lead you on and leave you hanging.

You know they are all the same,

No matter what they come saying,

Or what they look like.

They are all the same.

But still you want to ignore that fact,

And dream of finding the perfect guy.

And dream of being loved deeply and truthfully,

Because you are human!

And a human wishes, a human dreams, a human wants!

When you want nobody, they show up.

And when you want somebody, they all disappear, even the crooked!

So then what do you do next?

Sit alone in the wild forest and listen to the birds chirping,

Feel the wind blow your face,

Hear the water lapping,

Listen to your sad playlist,

And wonder!

Wonder what you did wrong,

Wonder why the universe is not on your side,

Wonder what it would feel like,

To have some one hold you and comfort you.

To have some one to walk with, eat with and make jokes.

To have some one to kiss passionately.

To have someone who makes you feel like nothing else matters.

Wonder what it would feel like if that feeling came true!

But then you just get up, leave that peace of the wild forest,

And go back where everybody else is.

Go where everybody else but you is happy.

And smile!
