my place

It's in times like these that I feel as though I'm safe

Here I am free to feel what I feel and to say what I think

The feeling of needing to belong resides somewhere in everybody,

but as of right now I'm content with this sanctuary of mine.

Just me and my thoughts and anyone who's reading.

I hope you have a place just like mine where you can go no matter when or where,

A place to go that makes you feel like you do belong.

It is not conceited or narcissistic to be happy being alone with yourself.
