We are night-sky lovers

The way our moonlit shadows dance in their spotlight,

the way the stars reflect themselves in your dark, dilated eyes,

it feels like we were born for this.

Nothing more but lovers in the dark.

It won't stay like this.

It never does.

But right now, 

there's nothing anyone could say to get my mind off you.

Our silhouettes collide in the rayless night,

blending in until you don't even notice they are there. 

Right now is were we are.

It won't last for ever,

but it's here tonight,

and neither of us want to waste it.
