Chapter 2
Problem
"Sis, parang 'di naman 'to ang lugar para sabihin 'yang problema mo," We're already at 127 bar. And of course, it's crowded as fuck.
"Nah, I want to drink my problems away," I just laughed. Hinanap namin ang table ng mga kaibigan namin and there we found the two.
Piper, Avery, Me, and Clem are bff's since high school, until college, and up until now.
"Hey, bitches!" It's Piper. Bineso beso namin an isa't isa. And I wasn't shocked when there were Cuervo and Bacardi on the table.
"Wow ha, ready'ng ready na?" Sabi ko.
"Of course! Minsan nalang to dahil napaka busy mo'ng gaga ka!" si Avery. We took shots. And to my surprise, ubos na ang Cuervo.
'Di ba halatang problemado? Feel ko hindi naman.
"Hey, so I have a big problem."
Bakit? Lalaki ba 'yan? Hayop? Lugar? Charot!" Si Piper. Bunganga talaga nito parang tanga.
"Kind of?" I wasn't really sure but it is about a guy, duh?
"Spill!" Sabi ni Clem.
"So, my mom and dad went home kanina. And they were asking me to be in a fixed marriage to someone I barely know! I mean?" I took another shot of Bacardi.
"What the fuck?" // "Huh?"
Pucha, totoo pala?" Si Avery.
I know right! Sana all fiction lang.
"OMG couz, I'm sorry to here that.." Clem said holding my hand."Ano daw pangalan, sis? Baka naman gwapo! Tapos baka kagaya sa mga storya na mafafall ka sakanya, diba?" Piper said.
"Piper, that's too cliché. You know I don't believe in those. And I forgot the last name." I took another shot.
"Anong ginawa mo? 'Di ka pumayag?" Si Avery.
"Of course! I've been held in the neck since I was young! Pati ba naman sa mapapangasawa ko 'dun pa sa 'di ko mahal?" I said. Puta parang tinatamaan na 'ko.
"So? What's your plan?" Si Clem.
"I don't know, run away?" I said without even thinking.
"Sa yaman niyong 'yan? Tingin mo 'di ka ipapahanap ng mama mo?" Piper said. She has a point.
"Saan naman?" Clem asked.
"I don't know yet, okay? That's why I want to get drunk right now! I want to forget it even just this night." I said.
"Tangina, buti nalang nag doktor ako." Si Piper. She graduated in UST and so as Avery. They're now planning to study again.
