His Unhealthy Obsession

Chapter 4

Ever since I got that text message I've been a little jumpy. He/ She has been messaging me non-stop with randon comments like:

That dress looks lovely 

or

You have a beautiful smile

 This has been going on for about two weeks and I am sick of it. right when I was about to contiinue my rant I got another text. I groaned in annoyance at the sound. I looked at my phone debating whether or not to open it. I was about to open it when my phone beeped again, it was a text from my mom:

Mom: Come to the hospital NOW

I was slightly confused and very much so worried. I hopped in my mini cooper and sped to the hospital. When I arrived I found my mother franticly pacing up and down the waiting room. When she saw me approaching, she immediatly ran up to me and pulled me into a vice grip hug.

"Oh honey I'm glad you're here." She said through sobs

"Mom what's wrong?" I asked growing more and more worried

"Y-Your father was attacked. Some man in a mask jumped him while he was in the parking lot. He stabbed him so many times. There were to many to count and the doctors say he might not make it."

The only thing I could do was stand there numbly and hold my mother. My mind just drifted to my father. The man whoraised me and cared for might not leave the hospital.

after a few minutes of just standing up and staring blankly at the wall we were approached by a female doctor. Her mouth was fixed into a grim line. She looked between my mother and I then spoke.

"Are you here for Mr. Alan Richards." My mother and I both nod in reply  'I'm sorry to say that he did not make it." She gave a sympathetic  look along with small 'sorry for your lost' and left

I just felt like my whole world came crashing down. That's when my walls broke and the sobs came out along with a huge wave of sadness.

 My father was gone.
