"Where the hell is he?" I asked myself as I looked down both sides of the sideway.
It has been over an hour since Justin called and promised to meet me at this small cafe for our date but he hasn't arrived as yet. I sighed in frustration and decided to just leave and confront him on monday to find out what happened. I was so dissapointed becaues I decided to wear my favourite casual blue dress with some matching flats and my hair had been curled and flowed freely down my shoulders.
As I was walking I suddenly realized that it was a bad idea to walk here alone . It's not that the area was dangerous or anything I just feel like tonight is not the night to be out here. I examined the area and sighed in relief to see the I was not the only one walking around at this time. The barely lit street lights guided me down the street as I kept my steady pace home.
I was only about two blocks away from home when I heard groaning coming from some bushes I was passing. My entire body froze and I looked over the bush to see a silhuote figure laying on their back moaning in agony. I decided that I couldn't leave the person there and took out my cellphone and called the ambulence. The operator told me to stay with the victim and to make sure that they don't move to much. Agreeing to this I jumped over the bush to get a proper look at the person. And really wish I had'nt because when I got closer I came face to face with the bloody battered face of Justin.
"Oh my God Justin what happened?" I shouted louder than neccesary
He looked up and tried to speak but his breath came out as short puffs desperate to recieve oxygen. He tried to speak one more time but was cut short by the wailing of the ambulance speeding down the street. The peramedics came rushing out and quickly attended to JUstin. Just as I thought everything was going to be okay, the next words I heard made my heart drop
"He's not breathing!"
