Chapter 8

His P.O.V

"Did you do what I said?" I asked my associate as she got in  the car

"Yeah she bought the doctor thing. You'd think she'd know better then to trust strangers." She snorted

"Hey don't insult my future ife. She's just very niave." I said trying to defend Liane

"Whatever where's my money?" she asked stretching her hand out

I let out an exasperated sigh but handed her the 3,000 dollars to which she gladly accepted

"It was a pleasure doing business with you sir." She said with a wink

"And thank you Dr. Sanchez." I winked back

"Hey how's that shiner?" She asked with a smirk

To which I grunted "That bitch's got one hell of a swing i thought she was gonna kick my ass. Good thing I carry my lucky brass knuckles with me." puting my brass knuckels on display. But it's true for a middle aged lady she could punch

Flash back:

"Now Nancy be a good girl so we can get this over with." I siad waving my knife in her face. She didn't show one ounce of fear in her which i ha o admit was pretty ballsy when I man twice your size is threatening you with a knife.

"No." She replied like a child being put on timeout

Just as I was about to repsond I felt fist connect with my face. Next thing I know I'm on the ground with the knife a cross the room and a 5'3 woman on top of me punching me repeatedly

"You. Stay. Away. From. My. Daughter." She emphasized with each punch.

I could feel myself close to unconciousness so i reached into my right pocket and pulled out my brass knuckles and silently slipped then on. Just when she about to punch me gain I swung at her. My fist connectted to her jaw causing a sickening crack to echo the room. She fell to my side unconsious. I took the opporutinuty to finish the job

She rolled her eyes "Yeah well I better get going before mommy dearest throws a fit." 

I chuckled "Tell mom I said hi"

"Whatever you say bro"
