11. Soccer Practice

Carmen's pov

I am just now getting down to the field when the girls run up to me.

"You guys okay?" I ask them

"Yes we're fine we just thought you would like to know that your coming home with us after soccer practice!" Rachel says to me. I couldn't help but smile. Shit I have orthodontist appointment.

"I can't" I say

"Why not?" Avery asks me

"Guys I have an orthodontist appointment right after practice." I tell them.

All throughout practice we talked till practice was over.

Picking me Up

Carmen's pov

I am seeing Adrian pull up into the parking lot with Bradley in the front seat. Yeah I'm getting braces today! Whoopi. Blah blah blah. Before I could open the door Bradley kept messing with the lock until his mum got onto him. I got into the car and buckled up.

On the way I just looked out the window. As I was doing that I caught Bradley staring at me through the window. I rolled my eyes and looked back out the window. Till we pulled up into the Orthodontist's parking lot.

Adrian and I stepped out of the car. For the love of god please don't get out. Sure enough Bradley got out of the car. I rolled my eyes and we walked inside.

Afterwards

Bradley's pov

Carmen is getting braces put on right now. She's been in there a while. Then she came out.

"Oh let me see honey" my mum says

She smiled.

"What colors did you pick?" Mum asks

"I got clear and silver" she says

"Well sweetie you look great now let's get you two home so I can head to work. She says and we head back home. When we got home I went inside and straight to my room.

Carmen's pov

I had gotten into my room I took my phone out. I took a picture and sent it to everyone who I normally talk to.

Avery: awe baby they look so good

Lexi: omg boo you look great

Harry: twice as cute as before gorgeous

Austin: amazingly adorable babygirl you look beautiful

Carmen: awe thanks you guys I'll see you tomorrow at school.

I put my phone down and laid back. I ran my finger over my braces. This feels so weird.

"Hey Carmen can I talk to you for a minute?" I hear Bradley say on the other side of my door. I got up and answered my door.

"Yeah sure what is it?" I ask him

"Um about last night I-um I don't know what was going through my mind when I-" I cut him off

"Hey it's cool it's better that I stopped it. Anyways um thanks for last night I had a lot of fun." I tell him

He just looked at me and then there was a knock on the door downstairs. He went downstairs and answered the door while I decided to take a shower.

Bradley's pov

I am answering the door to see the guys. I ran my hands over my face and let them in. We went up to my room. When I was walking to my room I heard the shower running. 

Obviously it means that Carmen's in the shower.

"Hey man what was with you two in lunch the other day?" I hear Connor ask me

"Honestly you guys I don't know" I say I mean I really don't know. These feelings or whatever it is that I'm feeling for Carmen have got to go. I opened my door and we four walked inside.

The three of them just looked at me.

"Lad do you like her?" Tristan asks me

"Of course not. I just I don't know. I feel protective over her." I say

"Why?" James says

"I don't know ever since the party I've been feeling like that. I mean I promised her that I wouldn't let it happen ever again." I say running my fingers through my hair.

"Alright well lad I mean how do you really feel about her?" Connor says to me

"Honestly I don't know. I really don't." I say frustrated. I fell back in my bed and stared up at the ceiling.

"I'm catching feelings for a girl I don't even like. I don't even know how that's possible"

"Bradley? Did you mean to say that out loud?" James says

My eyes widened and I sat up.

"I was thinking out loud" I say

"So your catching feelings for her huh?" Tristan says.

"I don't know, but whatever it is that I'm feeling it's got to go the hell away. Cause she's my victim and I'm the bully." I say to them.

They just looked at me. Didn't say a word. Then I heard a phone ring. It was Carmen's.

Carmen's pov

I am answering my phone cause it's my mum.

Conversation between Carmen and her mum

Carmen: hi momma

Mum: hey baby how is everything going?

Carmen: oh it's great I guess just passing the time till you come home

Mum: I know baby how is soccer practice going?

Carmen: oh it's great we have a game on Friday and I'm so excited momma

Mum: that's great baby, hey I love you I got to go I have to get back to work

Carmen: alright I love you too bye momma

Mum: bye baby

I put my phone down on my bed. I was walking around my room thinking about how much fun soccer practice was today. I'm glad I talked Rachel, Lexi and Avery into trying out for the team. Now we have our first game on Friday. Oh my gosh I'm so excited I can't wait.
