I stare at him with round eyes. What's Forth doing here? And how in the world did he get here? There was an attack this morning and the security guard lets anyone in?

- Are you going to let me in?

His voice break my stupor.

- They let you pass?

I can't believe my eyes... Forth knocking on my door, and wearing casual clothes... I was starting to thought he was only wearing suits.

- I'm popular, so is my future wife.

I hesitate for a second to bang the door on his face but decide to let him in and close the door behind, wondering if I'm signing my death by doing so.

- What do you want?

He looks intensely at me making me edgy. I choose to stare at my foot instead of his piercing eyes, waiting for my calm to come back.

He approaches me to stand a few inches from my body. I do not move despite my growing nervousness. It is not said that I will step back before him, even if I look everywhere but on him.

- I'm sorry, he states calmly.

My head rise hearing that unbelievable declaration.

- What?

Did this cold robot just apologize??

- Ann told us what happened; this guy was stalking her for sometimes and didn't accept her new relationship. He's been arrested. And thank you for helping her, you saved her.

I remain silent in front of him, taken off guard. I did not think he knew how to recognize his mistakes, I'm surprised, pleasantly surprised.

- You were right. I'll always remember what you did for her, love.

I feel my body temperature rising and turn my head away to hide my burning cheeks. Why in hell am I feeling like this every time he calls me that! There's no way I will forget so easily how he behaved since day one.

- I did what I could, anyone else would have done the same. You didn't have to come just to say this.

He put his finger on my chin to make me look at him.

- I had to check something else.

No, my heartbeat is not accelerating, no, definitely not because of him. I'm tense that's why.

- Are you hurt? He asks.

My mouth opens in chock. What's the catch? He can't be really worried so maybe he's up to something. Should I confess now? Yeah, maybe it will make this shaky feeling go away.

- I have something to tell you, I start hesitantly.

Yes, the sooner the better, I'm going to end it tonight.

- Are you avoiding my question?

I furrow my eyebrows; how can he be so annoying? I'm trying my best to set him free, not that he deserves it much...

- No, I have a small scratch on my arm, but what's more important is... What are you doing?

He's pulling my sweat off.

- Don't move I have to see your wound.

- I treated it it's nothing. You can't...
