Chap. 10- Colors

Ian sat in the waiting room, biting his lip. Tapping his feet, he looked up to the clock.

Twenty more minutes, according to what they told him...

Playing games on his phone, Ian tapped his foot, looking up at the clock again.

Ten more minutes.

Taking out a notepad, Ian began writing, for what felt like twenty minutes.

Is Seto out yet...?

Looking around, Ian widened his eyes when Seto came out. Bandages were wrapped around his eyes.

"H-Hey Ian." Coming over, Ian smiled, kissing his hand.

"Hello, Seto." Clinging onto his arm, Seto burying his head into his arm. The doctor instructed on what to do, Ian paying for the surgery and smiling softly. Seto balanced on the crutches, Ian scooping the brunet up with a blush across the younger one's.

"I-Ian, p-put me down!" Strapping the crutches to his bag, Ian left, Seto blushing. "I-Iaaan!"

"Come on, love." Smiling, Ian set Seto carefully into the car, driving to their house.

They chose out a new house, with the help of Lilia to move into together. Ian's old one is now for their friends to party or game at, or simply as a place to stay a few nights. Lilia and Noah were staying at Noah's house, and Seto's house was planned to be brought next to the house they bought with magic.

Parking, Ian opened the door, lifting Seto out. Giving him the crutches, Seto wobbled a little bit.

"Easy there, love." Helping him up the stairs, Ian unlocked the door, smiling as he heard Noah and Lilia moving furniture in. "Lilia! Noah!"

"Seto! Ian!" Running over, Seto looked up towards Lilia's voice, lightly head butting Noah's shoulder.

"You got the surgery!" Lilia screamed with happiness, flinging her arms around Seto. "You'll finally see the world!"

"I'll tend to it, you guys can go to Noah's house now." The two left, Seto sitting down onto the couch. "I'll take care of you, alright baby?" Blushing, he nodded. Ian smiled, kissing his forehead.

"Alright... move that..." Dropping the bandage onto his hands, Seto opened his eyes.

Foggy... Blurry...

Ian stepped in front of him, gently rubbing the ointment the doctor provided around his eyes, giving small careful spurts of the needed medicine.

"You alright there, Seto?"

"Everything is foggy... And why is it dark...?"

"You lived in darkness for a long time, and doing this right when you open your eyes to bright daytime can be very harmful. Each time we open your eyes, the light will be a little brighter."

"Any better?" Wiping any of the excessive ointment away, Seto nodded. His vision was better, and he could almost see Ian and be in daylight. Almost. God he was excited.

"What about my leg?"

"Next week."

"Careful now, right leg." Seto wobbled, Ian smiling and supporting him. "Try to walk now." Walking a little clumsily, Seto blushed. He must've looked like a toddler.
