part 1:
Hope is elusive
And yet never far behind
Fading
Yet always there
Falling through the darkness
Falling through the light
Falling through the earth
Falling through space
Falling through time
Power I have
Over when I leave
Yet I have no desire
To have such power
As it was not meant to be used
When the natural order
Will decide
To enact
The time
As it always will
Until that day
Far from now
Weary with age
By body sinks to the earth
Joining the dirt
Fueling the earth
And my soul
Rising
To meet its master
My reality
The present
Thinks of this
Yet feels the word
Not the action
Long is my journey ahead
For my brothers
For my mother
For my father
For my sister
For my family
And for my master
Order, balance, and power
Neither good, nor bad
But there
To serve growth
And strength
And the ultimateness
Of existence
Of reality
Of creation
Part 2:
I step up in the face of danger
Enjoy thrills
Though not scares
Yet timid
Shy
And afraid of injury
Yet fearless to protect others
Despite injury
I am powerful
But my true strength
Is in others
My fears
My shortcoming
Disappear
When I am needed
I am separated
From my anxieties
And operate at my best
My desire to help others
Increases when I see suffering
It overpowers everything else
So much so
I can’t feel anything else
Expect that desire
To help
To ease
To save
A person
My hypersensitive is numbed
My pain
My struggles
Anxieties
Stress
Concerns
And fears
Cease to exist
In the presence of the desire
It is pure happiness
To feel the desire and succeed
In assisting
It is the most effective way
To overcome
My challenges
My pain
My fear
If only for a time
Part 3:
The earth is alive
It groans
It feels
The abuse of all the living things upon it
Humans
Animals
Plants
And ecosystems
It may not feel the few animals who die for food
Or plants for growth
But it does feel the extermination of its plants and animals
The constant hunt and torture of animals, the death of the young
For cheap fast food, for tournaments, or to appease our sick fetishes
The plants not for moderate growth, but massive expansion
Merciless wiping out ecosystems
Everything in them
And letting them die
Until none remain
One after another
Like a fast machine
It may not feel a city
Decayed over time
Or some building, cars, or objects destroyed
But it does feel the millions slaughtered upon its surface
The cities destroyed into oblivion
The destruction of nations
Peoples
And large devastation
Genocide
And opressement
Of many peoples
We have progressed
But often not because of the groans of the earth
Or it’s people
Or it’s nature
Or it’s environment
But because the things in our pockets
Begin to shrink
Small steps we have made
For almost all the wrong reasons
And the arts still groans
For the present
And for the evil
Which in the past
Still has made no progress
