"are you sure bringing ravanna to the academy is safe?" my friend myrtle snow spoke"yes i do not want her with some strangers " i said sternly as i packed my things into my luggage "plus if her magic will prevail with out her mother being all that's the way that binding spell works ." i said now zipping the rose colored luggage up before i moved and walked down the stairs "alright well what about Fiona?" Myrtle asked i scoffed "if she finds out her granddaughter is here what will happen" she added i shook my head. "just because she  was my sisters  daughter does not mean she will shun her to " i huffed as i made my to the limo

making it to the airport i hopped on fight 456, because my sister moved to Utah to get away from me because i taught my niece how to use her empathy, as my feet hit the asphalt i moved quickly i felt something off ever since i got a call from ravanna begging me to come get her,

the cab pulled up to the side of house that looked like a run down Amityville i moved up the steps and knocked on the door  a tall man with a beer belly the size of Texas answered the door " Who are you?" he spat taking the cigarette away from his lips. the smell if tobacco ran up my nose "were you the next door neighbor of Roman and cassidy dahlia " i asked with  smile "yeah what's it to you?" He asked taking a another puff "i believe that her daughter was requested ro live her, im her aunt " the man chuckled "yo Megan grab Ravanna will ya" he said calling to someone named megan that must be his wife or sister. I heard a cackle then a squeal from ravanna i tensed up seeing ravanna tossed next to the man "here take her we aren't her legal guardians to begin with" ravanna was mucky her arms bruised her once long red hair was cut UN-even to her shoulders ravanna sniffled and looked up "aunt Cordelia!" She called out running and wrapping her small arms around me as the door slammed shut. How could my sister leave her with them her daughter which she praised like a god i knelt down and stared up at her "are you okay?" Ravanna shook her head "they were mean and i wasn't allowed to where my gloves" she said looking down at her dirt covered hands. I stood and took her dirty hand. "Lets get you home" she clung to my arm "but where's home" she said sadly as she looked at up at me tears filling her Crystal eyes "don't worry we have a new home" i reassured her with a smile.

instead of taking the plane back we drove back she does not have her passport plus shes too young, i don't want to force something on her she does not want to do. as we enter the academy the council stood in front of the steps "hello guys what bring you here?" i ask as ravanna clung to my arm "we were summoned" Myrtle said as Fiona peered around the steps i sighed "did you really think i was going to miss seeing my grand daughter  grow into her powers?" she scoffed "grandma!"ravanna chirped running up the stairs "hello bug" my mother said kneeling down "your so dirty,..what happened to her" Fiona's head turned i sighed " i believe  the family Cassidy gave her to abused her" fiona flared her nostrils "and who are these people" i rotated my jaw in irritation "why so you can kill them?" i scoffed out, "Delia, your niece was harmed and you don't care? you can't stand there and call yourself her aunt if you do not feel some sort of Anger" she said descending the stairs "of course im mad! " i said folding my arms as i huffed "mother you need to understand that, that choice was Cassidy's to give her to that family be angry with her" i said "Well delia if you have not noticed She's dead!" Fiona spat i shook my head turning away from her well a loud thud hit the ground Myrtle rushed up the stairs as ravanna laid unconscious my mother ran up the stairs to, i felt my world spin faster my heart gunned "is she breathing?" no she has to be "no pulse" Quentin said "delia call and ambulance!" fiona shouted  i did as i was instructed to do, my heart gunning in my chest

the question 'are you okay' and 'is she going to be alright' hung in the air like a misty fog, as we rushed to the hospital ,my heart was beating so loud everything else was muffled, as we waited for the doctor to come out of my nieces room my mother paced as i bit my nails the doctor approached us as i stood "is she alright" the doctor looked up from her Clipboard "your girl in there is lucky to be alive she suffered from a bruised lung and broken rib her heart failed did to stress on fighting to keep her body awake from sleep deprivation" the doctor looked annoyed as she stared at me and fiona "let me ask you this has this child been abused?" she asked marking something down "yes the family my sister had given her to watch over her until either me or her husbands brother came to get her abused her" the doctor stared at me for a while the silence got creepy as i raised a brow " what is their names" she said coldly,

"i believe the father was Gabriel Hanson the mother Megan they have 3 children of their own"

"where do they live ms.foxx?"

"um Utah i don't know what Street nor home address"

"that's fine, i will let the authorities down there know and they will find him" the doctor moved along to her station as i watched fiona move into ravanna's room becoming stand offish i entered the room seeing where fiona was staring at seeing a dark red headed woman with mocha tan skin as she ran her hand over ravanna's forehead "who are you?"  asked growing worried "sorry for the intrusion" she spoke a soft accent slipping through her pink lips " i am Adaline Erickson, i was just so interested but the magic energy flowing out into the hallway" she spoke softly "what-" she waved her hand "im a bruja or witch what ever you like to call it, and i have a ability to sense the veil between witches or warlocks an humans they have  a certain glow about them" she explained "your girl here has a glow from the Gemini witch tribe" the woman said i blinked "Gemini witch?" Fiona questioned "yes the tribe that ranks nearly higher then the supreme. but their powers are quick to show and harder to control " i was baffled she smiled when two little girls wandered in "these are my twins, faye and faith, " the girls smiled as their mother moved and held a card out to me "let me know when we or the children can have a play-date" she left the room as the girl giggled i moved and touched ravanna to make sure nothing but touching happened and sighed sitting in the chair beside her

after the long night of Waiting we finally were able to go home ravanna hung to my arm like a Scared child, i would not blame her she was near death my hand drug over her head "are you okay?" ravanna nodded "i feel so tired aunt Cordelia," the doctors said she must need more rest because her medicine i knelt down looking at her dirty cheeks "Alright do you want to sleep or shower?" ravanna hung her head "i guess a bath" she shrugged i touched her cheek she winced "your scared" she whispered "of course i am i nearly lost you again rav" i spoke in a hushed tone

she rubbed my cheek "aunt Cordelia you will never lose me," she giggled as she skipped off to the bath room i followed after her as she filled the tub water she always have been independent since the day she was born, her fathers hair her mothers eyes, we have no idea on earth where she got her attitude my side of the family even in hard times realize that we need help at times, Ramon family was Always co-depended on their spouse or siblings, ravanna when she turned four she broke her leg, and she was so hardheaded that when we tried to help her up she threw a fit, i guess she is made to be a strong woman, goddess even

"when you done head to your room " she nodded i smiled and moved up the steps

~4 YEARS LATER~

it felt like the time up and flew when i got her she was 12 years old now shes 16 and helping me with the girls and their magic. her long red hair and  blue eyes helped me relax some today we have a new arrival her name is zoe benson
