A/N: Finally, this is the phase in which we are able to make peace with the loss. It doesn’t always come suddenly; it often happens gradually, little bit by little bit, interspersed with some of the other phases. Acceptance doesn’t always involve harmony and flowers – there is almost certain to be lingering sadness. Acceptance entails making peace with the loss, letting go of the relationship and slowly moving forward with your life. Sometimes it feels like this phase will never come, which usually means you’re still struggling in an earlier phase. But somehow, once you learn to accept the things that will never be, you will find yourself being ready to face the world once again and as the Author's friend said, to bounce back to life. But mind you guys, it doesn't come overnight, it happens little by little.
This phase doesn't mean that you are ready for a new relationship again, because this stage involves healing and recovering from the hurt and pain that you've been through. The stage wherein you learn to accept and face the reality that you had loved, been hurt, and now ready to move on and look forward to the brighter days...
And to make a conclusion on the Reflection in Fragments here goes the last installment and the final phase. I am now giving you the stage of LETTING GO and ACCEPTANCE....
I once heard a story straight from the heart;
About a girl and how her world began to fall apart.
It all started when she met the boy that made her life complete;
Just thinking of him made her heart skip a beat.
They were the couple everyone almost wanted to be,
People were happy to greet them, either one could see.
As the days passed by, they fell more in love, and less aware
Of how often life turns out to be unfair.
Until one day, they finally gave in.
Maybe he realized, there was no way they could win.
He said he's sorry, but guess they have to let go.
She wanted to reach his hand, but he pulled away, whispering 'No'...
When he said his goodbye, a tear slid down her cheek.
She just stood there speechless, forgetting how to speak.
The next few days were the hardest at home
She truly felt she was alone.
Her mom pushed in her face how she had won,
Her friends said "We knew he was another one!"
Her new found sisters said "Come on baby, you'll be okay!"
And her brothers just hugged her then tried to stay away...
At work, it was like she wasn't even there,
No one really knew so no one seems to care.
Her life had no more color, just black and white
Even getting out of bed turned into a fight.
Despite their tries things just weren't like before.
Then they decided to not try anymore.
He said she needed somebody, not him...
Someone to treat her right.
To talk to her lovingly
And care for her day and night.
Someone to be there when she needs him
To give her love and support
To hold her close and wipe away, all the signs of hurt.
And now, as the days passed by, she became more and more aware,
About how it's okay even if life sometimes was unfair.
Because eventually, everything becomes your past
But the memories that taught you lessons will always last.
And with that I hope you see,
Not all love was meant to be.
But hold on, and don't give in.
Stand tall, hold up your chin.
And believe me when I say,
The right one will come one day.
He'll open your eyes to things you couldn't ever see.
I know this because....
This is a story all about me......

REFLECTION IN FRAGMENTS
PoetryI can still remember everything vividly. This is the reflection of a love that was so true, then suddenly, without any warning, just went wrong.....
