Chapter 31- The truth is finally told

Hunter's P.O.V

I watched as Darren kissed Aria's cheek, saying something to her and walking away. I looked to where she was, she looked upset...confused and lost. What the heck just happened? I quickly pulled away from whatever her name was Chloe or Cleo or I honestly don't know or give a damn and ran out after Darren.

"Darren wait." I called after him

He stopped, turning to face me and I ran towards him

"What the fuck? What sort of guy leaves his date like that?" I asked annoyed

"The sort of guy that aint gonna be a second choice and watch as she pines after someone else that sort of guy." He said, his voice calm, not seeming bothered with the way I was talking to him.

I looked at him confused

"I mean you Hunter. She wants you, she doesn't want me." he said

"What are you talking about? She doesn't want me. I gave her the choice between you and I...she picked you Darren." I said

"It may have seemed that way. She may have thought that was what she wanted, it isn't though. She wants you. So you have two choices...go to her and let her tell you how she really feels or walk away and watch another guy come in and sweep her off her feet. The choice is yours." He said patting my shoulder and walking away

I stood there, confused and wonder what the hell just happened. She does want me? Then why did she choose him? Then again I never exactly made things clear to her did I? I guess it is time to man up and go after what I want, first thing first though...I need to talk to Brandon. Yes as I said to her I was willing to take that chance losing Brandon over wanting to be with her but that was the wrong way to go about it if this was ever gonna work. I headed to find somewhere quiet, not caring that I had some woman inside waiting for me. I looked at the screen of my phone for about ten minutes before finally finding the guts to actually hit the call button. It rang one...two...three times and the longer he took to answer the more nervous it made me.

"Hunter buddy everything alright?" he asked not expecting to hear from me until tomorrow

I took a deep breath

"Ask me again in a few minutes. I need to talk to you about something, it is important. I hope what I am gonna say aint gonna ruin what we have...ruin this friendship Brandon but I wanted to talk to you before I made a decision." I said

A silence fell on the other side of the phone

"Brandon?" I asked

"Hunter what is going on? You are worrying me mate?" he said

How do I tell him that I wanna be with his little sister? Tell him I have been crazy about his little sister for years?

"I don't know how to get this out. You are gonna hate me." I sighed "It is one rule that should never be broken between best friends and I know that but I can't help how I feel." I said

I hear him sigh on the other side of the phone

"You mean the feelings you have for Aria?" he said

Wait? What? How does he even know that is what I am talking about it?

"How did you know that is what I was gonna say?" I asked "You hate me now don't you?" I added

I swear I heard him chuckle on the other end. Why is he chuckling?

"Aria is just off the phone, she told me about what had been going on." He said

About what has been going on? How much did she tell him? Oh God please tell me she did not tell him that her and I have been hooking up for weeks? He does not need to know those things.

"Plus Hunter I know you have had feelings for Aria for a long time. I am not saying I am 100% alright with this Hunter but I aint against it either. But a few things we need to make clear if you don't sort this out, tell her how you really feel and hurt her in any way I will not hesitate to hurt you, got that? And there needs to be some rules too." He said

I stood there, mouth wide and lost for words. He is alright with this? Well mainly.

"You don't hate me or wanna kill me for making a move on your sister?" I asked surprised

"No, it is gonna take some time to get used to I know that but within time it will just become normal. Hunter don't get into this if you aint in it for the long run. I aint letting my sister become just some other woman to you. So you are all in or don't bother going near her." He said sternly

"Brandon I promise you it is nothing like that. I really like her I swear, actually I think I am closer to falling in love with her rather than just liking her. I don't plan in just letting her become just some other woman. I just wanted to talk you about it all first." I said

"That better be the truth cause if you hurt her I will kill you. Now get the fuck off the phone and go tell her how you really feel before I change my mind." He chuckled

"Thank You. I promise mate, I am all in for this...for her...for us. Talk to you tomorrow." I said hanging up

I rushed back into the bar, looking to where I last seen her but she was not there. Where did she go? She never passed me. Shit! Don't tell you I have blew it. I tried calling her, she never answered though. I decided I would go back to the apartment, hoping she would be there. I hailed down a cab, soon arriving at the apartment, rushing inside. When I did the place was in darkness...the place was silent. Where the hell is she? I decided to check her room, just as well I did cause I found her. She was curled up on the bed, in her pjs and sound asleep. How did she manage to do all that so quickly? She usually takes forever to fall asleep, maybe everything that happened tonight was getting to her. I slipped my shoes and jacket off, going over to her bed and climbing on it, laying down next to her. I reached in pushing the hair away from her neck, placing soft kisses on the skin of her neck and shoulders. She let out a small moan

"Hunter?" she whispered tired

"Hey, yes it is me." I whispered back

She slowly turned to face me. As soon as she did I reached in kissing her softly only for a moment before pulling away, resting my forehead against hers

"Aria I am sorry I acted like a jackass and never made things clear. I want you Aria...all of you including this." I said placing my hand on her heart "I am falling in love with you Aria, please give me a chance?" I whispered

"I never realised it until tonight...until after you text me...until after I spoke with Brandon, I am falling in love with you too." She said

"You are?" I said smiling widely "Does that mean you are willing to try being with me...like boyfriend...girlfriend?" I added

"Yes." She giggled

That way all I need to hear. I pushed my lips against hers, kissing her with everything I had in me, making sure she knew from that one kiss exactly how I felt about her. She wrapped her arms around my neck, deepening the kiss as she rolled onto her back, taking me with her so I was on top of her. I pulled away from the kiss only for a moment

"Now I am gonna do this right...gonna take this slow...gentle...take my time with you, the way I should have been doing it all this time." I whispered

"Please?" she said the look in her completely different, it was more than want and lust now.

I planned on spending my night with her wrapped in my body...us wrapped in her sheets and hope I don't mess all this up.

I am thinking maybe another 8 chapters which will concentrate on their relationship.
