The saiyan experiment

a new purpose

i had awoken in capsule corp fully healed but sitting in the room from before i just stared at a wall as the others talked beyond it. unable to hear them i closed my eyes until the doorway opened. turning i saw the older trunks from the future. "i want you to come with me" he said and without a word i followed him. arriving in the center of the building it was a nice lush hilly landscape with a pond. "this is the room everyone is going to train in for the next few days until goku gets better. this room can be changed into any landscape you can think of so now down to business" he said transforming into a super saiyan. "lets see how my power compares to yours" he said as i focused. transforming into a super saiyan with some strain i took a stance as trunks did the same. rushing across the ground we began trading blows faster and faster until we stopped above the pond our blows sending water everywhere until landing a kick to my face trunks smashed me through a tree but stopping i dodged the next one and driving my fist into his face i sent him flying. landing on his feet he fired a ki blast that i punched straight through and pulling back we slammed our shoulders together the force making a crater where we stood. blocking several of his next attacks i managed to land a glancing blow to his side making him slide backwards. "insane as we fight you improve rapidly even faster than i can!" he said as we leaped into the air. focusing all of my power i crouched earning me a punch to the face but using all my power i drove my fist into his chest making him cough up blood then releasing a pulse of ki i sent him crashing to the ground below. appearing behind me he drove his elbow into my back before twisting and kicking me in the stomach. wincing i grabbed his leg and throwing him into the pond i was surprised when he shot up from it quickly. blocking a punch i was hit by his heel as he flipped upside down sending me towards the ground. landing on my feet i shot up as we pulled our fists back. feeling a small tug at my lips i smiled before we slammed our fists together creating a whirlwind around us. yelling we both pushed until finally we were thrown back. me slamming into the ground as piccolo caught trunks. smiling i stood up my heart growing calm as i felt better. suddenly i felt a spark of something coming from everyone. mine was higher than most but trunks was equal with me and in the distance i felt something stronger. "we have to go!" i said flying out of the building and taking off. reaching a city i saw nothing but empty clothing and below i saw a strange green monster. landing i saw it look at me with recognition. "ahhhh rego my brother so good to see you!" the creature said aiming its tail at me the end like a syringe. "do i know you?" i said powering up to max as a super saiyan. "oh no but i know you. i am the bio android cell created by doctor gero. to achieve a greater form i must absorb android 17 and 18 but you seem to be close to their level. absorbing you will push me past them!" charging at me cell pushed me back as i blocked his attacks but after several moments i landed a punch to his face snapping his head back and slamming my palm into his stomach i sent him crashing through a building. "i will stop you and your evil!" i yelled when i heard a laugh. "with how youve been recently i doubt you have the right to lecture me rego" looking down in shame i shook my head. "i dont know where to even begin but after learning the truth of my purpose and what lies beyond i leave it behind. now i vow to become a protector of this world!" i yelled making cell smirk. "alright then mister protector lets see how you protect yourself!" he roared as he attacked with punches kicks and stabs of his tail. blocking and dodging i kept up until catching both of his hands i leaned my head dodging his tail and shoving him back i grabbed it and with full strength i launched him into the air. wincing i dropped to my knees as i looked down. i had a burn on my side. "when did you?" i started before feeling his power rising. "i see you've picked up how to sense energy! then tell me how powerful i truly am this is a move from son goku!" cell cried as he cupped his hands. "Kamehameha!" he roared unleashing a giant blast right at me. forcing myself to my feet i raised my hand and creating a barrier i was engulfed in the blast. the explosion that followed shook the planet. as the smoke cleared i was on my back on the ground. my outfit had been blown off save for the lower half with one pants leg gone. "is this how i go down?" i said to myself as cell descended.
