The saiyan experiment

hidden potential

opening my eyes i was staring up at a clear blue sky and sitting up i saw i was on a giant structure looking around it was far above the ground below and i saw trunks vegeta piccolo and an older looking gohan who was unmistakably a super saiyan sitting up here with me. "oh great your awake!" trunks said running over to me. "you were out for a couple of days and i should tell you that lots of things have changed!" he said right as goku suddenly appeared. "so your rego huh?" he said stepping forward and unintentionally i took a step back. "oh? you ok?" he said as he kept walking towards me until stopping in front of me he grinned. "so how about me and you have a little sparring match?" he said transforming into a super saiyan. looking at my ragged clothing i saw him perk up. "oh yeah bulma made this just for you!" goku said holding some clothing out. going into the building i stood right behind the doorway changing. stepping out i took a look at myself. i was wearing a pair of baggy black pants with a red sash holding them up and a dark blue tank top on my upper body. my wrists were now adorned with black wristbands and i had black boots with a green stripe going around the ankles. "bulma said she made this for you said it would look trendy or something like that he said taking a fighting stance. "so you ready?" he asked and taking a deep breath i transformed into a super saiyan but my power felt incredible. "not bad rego now lets start with a warm up" goku said firing a ki blast at me. slapping it away i lunged slamming my fist into his palm as he blocked the force sending a shock wave through the air. jumping apart we then leaped into the air meeting head on in a barrage of attacks until landing a kick to my gut goku knocked me down to the lookout. standing up i flew up towards him and attacking once again i stopped after several moments as goku deflected several of my attacks. "how are you so powerful?!" i demanded as he chuckled. "me and gohan went into a room where you can train for two years inside while on the outside only 2 days have passed. inside we mastered the super saiyan forms pushing our power to knew heights" after some questioning he told me where to locate the room. after getting some information on cell and the androids i learned of their absorption and his perfect form as well as our alliance with android 16 and getting a spare copy of my outfit i went inside the hyperbolic time chamber. "oh wow!" i said as i stared into the endless void. after eating some food i finally set to work. first i started with staying super saiyan for as long as i could while i trained pushing myself to the limit as the days passed some even had me think i was dying. i went through bone melting heats and teeth shattering colds that shifted randomly within the chamber as i trained my power growing more and more but still i didnt feel prepared. stopping one day i looked at the clock. "only two more weeks before i have to go" i mumbled continuing my training with even more intensity until the last three days. "dammit!" i screamed as my hair flashed black before turning gold. "no! no! no!" i roared as i felt myself slipping from my super saiyan state. "i cant just let this be it i know this is not my limit!" i kept yelling as i hunched down to the floor. i began seeing flashes in my head of myself losing time and time again against the androids and even my defeat the hands of cell but that wasnt what pushed me over the edge. i saw his face again. doctor gero the man who had created me the one i had seen as my father the one who wanted to just throw me away when he was done with me and then it hit. "i hate you!" i screamed as my power skyrocketed. my hair grew more defined as electricity engulfed me and clenching my teeth i grinned. "i did it!" i said when suddenly i lost it all. reverting to base form i fell to the ground panting as sweat dripped from me. transforming the next day i spent my last two days resting up and finally the day came. changing into my spare outfit after a much needed bath i stepped out of the chamber. everyone stared at me as i looked at them all. "seems you mastered super saiyan rego" gohan said smiling as everyone else went to doing what they had been. for a few days we all prepared ourselves for something called the cell games that the others had informed me on and getting everything ready we took off into the sky. after several moments we landed and i got a look at perfect cell. he looked more human than ever his body now seemed streamlined and looking at me i saw him smile. "ah rego! it is so good to see you! i do hope your the first to face me!" he said as i felt the murderous excitement flowing from his body. stepping onto the ring i kept walking until i stood only a few feet from him staring into his eyes. as everyone watched the battle was about to begin.
