Chapter 6 - Misplaced Anger

"Oh my gosh Gray this is so exciting" I squealed placing the cop hat on him. Last time it was Gray and I both in police costumes but we've decided its best for Gray to go without me. 

"When is Juvia arriving?" Erza paced back and forth glancing at her watch. It was clear that she was stressed out about the plan but I thought it was perfect. 

"Don't worry Erza, everything is going to go smoothly, you need to calm down" Natsu placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. That was once of the many things I liked about Natsu, he was goofy for sure but he knew when to be serious and how to be there for his friends. 

My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. Gray quickly opened the door to reveal a bluenette who I knew as Juvia. Juvia was a cop and she had helped Natsu and the others before. My guess is she only helped out of love for Gray. 

I always thought there age difference would be massive considering she has a career but she is only one year older, she got into the job or should I say was forced into the job by her father. 

"Gray, I've missed you so much" She wrapped her pale arms around the boy and the two starred a passionate kiss. It was really lovely to see, I never really thought of Gray to be in a relationship but seeing him so comfortable with Juvia made it obvious that they were meant to be.

"Alright love birds lets go over the plan" Erza stated, everyone gathered around her to go over the plan for what seemed like the 20000th time. 

"Ok so Gray and Juvia visit the police station with me cuffed, they take me to a cell where I will stage a fight with Gray. Once we have other cops on us Juvia uses her police ID to get a list of employees" Erza began going over the plan. 

"Natsu and Lucy will be waiting outside in a car for Gray who will say he needs to transfer me. Now this is where it gets complicated. They won't let me an Gray go without his ID. So thats when Juvia comes in and accuses Gray of being a fake cop. Gray and I run to the car ad drive away"

"Why can't Juvia just show her ID?" I question.

"Because Juvia being a cop is a great advantage, we can't let her seem dirty" Erza answered earning a nod from me. It was understandable, Juvia acting suspicious would be bad for us all.

"Juvia will find her own way back here, now back here Gajeel and Levy will be analyzing cereals profile. I'm sure Levy will be able to find at least some kind of social profile" 

"Wait Levy!" I stood up. My eyebrows furrowed, I swore if Natsu got Levy involved again I would loose it.

"She is our only hope Lucy" Natsu placed a hand on my shoulder. Quickly I hit it off. 

"What the fuck Natsu" I pushed his chest, I know I wasn't intimidating but it didn't matter. In that moment I felt so betrayed, I felt like he had just taken all the trust we had formed and smashed it to the ground. Levy was my best friend and I couldn't let her endanger her life again for me. Well not even for me, for Natsu.

"Why would you put Levy in danger for your own benefit" I growled hitting him again. My hands were balled into little fists. 

"He didn't" I heard a small voice. Turning around the bluenette I hoped to not see was there. She wore her hair up and her face held a small smile.

"Luce did you really think that I wouldn't know where you went" Levy shook her head jokingly.

"Besides Gajeel and I tell each other everything" She blurted out before a strong masculine figure appeared behind her. 

It started to make a little more sense now but I was still a little lost. Realizing I misplaced my anger I ran to Levy and wrapped my arms around her. I was annoyed that she would endanger herself but that was a conversation for another time.
