CHAPTER 3 | WE'RE BEING PUNKED PEDROSLEEPING in the same room where you're mad at someone can be difficult. It was the next day, and I was still upset with Hope. I was giving her the silent treatment, which annoys her. Which is why I do it. I was the first one to get up in the morning, and I was getting ready for class. As I was, finishing my last touch ups on my hair, I can hear my sister stir in her sleep, meaning that she was up.
I just ignored her, and continued with my hair.
"Morning Faith." She says as she got up from her bed.
Silence.
"Are you still hating on me? Look, I'm sorry for what happened yesterday, Faith. Can you at least talk to me?" She glumly said. For the first time, I turned around and look at her.
"I'm going to be late to class." I utter before grabbing my bag and leaving the room. Since we have first class together, we always walk to together to grab breakfast, but today was an understatement.
As I made my way down the breakfast hall, I saw majority of the students eating and talking amongst themselves, without no care in the world. I let out a heavy sigh, before making my way in the lines. I wasn't necessarily hungry so I just got a banana and some sort of breakfast bar. Not really in the social mode, I left the dining hall and went outside. I saw kids playing in the front of the school, and some upperclassmen eating outside. I decided to sit by a lake next to the trees.
I look down at my watch, I have about 15 minutes before class starts. I lay my stuff down on ground besides me and I unwrapped my banana and took a bite of it.
"Well, well, well. Now what is Faith Mikaleson doing all by herself." I look up and it was no other than the bitch herself. Penelope Park. Just like Stefan, she knows how to push my buttons. If she wasn't into girls, Stefan and Penelope would be a match made in hell.
I just stayed silent, pretending I didn't hear her.
"It's really funny, how you used to be the most popular girl in this school. Girls wanted to be your best friend, guys wanted to bang you. Now, you're just like your sister. A loner. A loner with no friends. Your parents—" That's when I perked up. I didn't let her finish that last thought, before I stood up and wrapped my hand around her neck, using my werewolf strength.
"Dolor" I enchanted. Immediately she started to scream in pain, and that's when I let go of her. But, she was still screaming in agony. No one talks about my family.
"What is going on here?!" Emma, the counselor, exclaimed as she ran up to us. She started mumbling a spell, and then Penelope quickly stopped screaming.
