Insides shattered,
Strewn about the darkness,
Too many to number,
Too many to count,
No one to put them back.
The razor sharp edges,
Cut deep in my soul,
The razor sharp edges,
cut down to the bone.
Severing what feelings were held in tact,
Unending misery knocks me to my knees,
The darkness consumes me,
Chills me to the bone,
Laying here naked,
Exposed and alone,
I long for the warmth,
I long to be whole,
But I am too shattered.
