My POV
A silver arrow pierced his shoulder I couldn't help but feel relieved that was until I remembered who it belonged to.I saw a group of girls of a lot of different ages step through the forest I might die today was the only thought in my mind. The manticore was backing up and he was surrounded by the group of girls and he made a finally retaliation and swatted the girls that was closest to the cliff she tried to get her footing back but it was hard in this snow she fell off the cliff I did the most restarted choice I jumped I don't know why I felt compelled to I fell and reached her I wrapped my arms around her and she screamed at me and I felt a tug in my gut I've never felt it before so I willed whatever that tug was tugging at and suddenly a wave the size of the cliff rose up and caught us and we rose to the top of the cliff to the battle.
Artemis POV
I was surprised no not at the manticore or the group of kids laying in the snow what surprised me was that foolish boy who jumped to his death joining my lieutenant Zoe nightshade but what surprised me even more was when I heard a roar of water and saw the boy and Zoe riding on a wave right next to the manticore.
Zoe POV
To say what I was feeling was both surprised and disgusted I mean I was surprised on how that Male saved me I mean he used the water I couldn't even see then I was disgusted realizing he was wrapping his arms around me I pushed home off and we rode the wave to the top to the fight.
Kane POV
When I got to the top I saw the manticore fighting I saw him swat away a group of about 6 hunters and I was furious as I saw a 9 year old fly through the air I used the wave and used it to form a sword of water and I charged at the manticore I dodged his attacks and swung the sword at him he caught it and threw me back and he swatted a few more hunters away which made me even more furious I saw Zoe flank him only to be flung like a rag doll about 29 feet into the snow that was the last straw I took my bow and I notched an arrow and I was to angry to notice it was glowing bright golden and I launched it and it hit right in his abdomen only to realize Percy was still dazed from Being thrown and the manticore fling itself st him and rand for the edge of he cliff and Annabeth launched herself at it and landed on its back it dropped Percy and jumped I reached for Annabeths hand and it missed i watched in horror as she fell with the manticore and disappeared into the fog I turned to see Percy fuming and he yelled at me that it was all my fault I didn't expect t to stop only to see everybody staring at me I yelled what am I that much of a failure I realized the glow and looked up and what I saw was even more mysterious than how I got here.
