Chapter 12:The junkyard of the gods (totally not copied)

My POV
We rode for hours we finally stopped in a desert luckily it was night time so it wasn't that hot we took in our surroundings and we saw a taco shop a few hundred feet away and beyond that was a big junkyard with trash piled high into the air we were about to go to the junkyard when headlights blinded us and there was a car the door opened and a sword appeared under Percy's chin he looked at us and I saw ares I wanted to punch this guy he told Percy that someone was waiting in the car for him he told us to go get tacos Grover said it was closed and with the snap of his hand the lights came on and the sign flipped to open so Percy got into the car and we went to go get tacos we got there got some food and sat down and talked we started by asking what Percy was in that car for I to them that it was Aphrodite she was talking to him about the junkyard over there I pointed to the junkyard I told them that it was one of Heaphestus junkyards and if we took anything there we would probably die we walked back to the car and Percy got thrown out I was about to walk to him when I fell to one knee and my eyesight went black as pain flared through my chest I looked down to realize I hadn't bandaged up the bullets ares just laughed and I went to get water I came back poured it on my wounds but what surprised all of us was the holes didn't heal everyone got worried I told them I was fine
We walked to the junkyard Percy told everyone not to pick anything up Zoe pointed west telling us that's west how do you know Ursa Major is in the north I heard Percy say the bear thing we reached the crest of a junk mountain metal glinting broken heads bronze horses metal legs human statues smashed chariots tons of shields and other weapons Grover ran over and picked up a crown made from gold,silver,and jewels he took a bite out of it and Thalia swatted it away Bianca tripped over coils and picked up a silver bow it shrunk into a hair clip she put it down after Zoe told her it could be cursed we went through the hills and valleys  I saw Percy and grover pick some things up and quickly put them Down finally we saw the end of the junkyard about half a mile ahead of us there was a hill about the size of a football field there were ten tall column things tightly wedged together I heard Zoe and Grover say they look like toes Zoe and Thalia exchanges nervous looks Thalia said to go far around but Percy told us that it was faster if we climb over we turned around when we heard a ping Thalia got out her shield and spear Zoe drew her bow t turned out that Grover threw a can at the toes Zoe demanded why he did that Grover replied that he didn't like toes we walked around for another few minutes we finally made it to the highway Zoe said we made it out thank the gods at that moment I heard a horrible sound like a thousand refrigerators grinding together I spun around and saw the scrap mountain was rising up the toes tilted over they were toes the thing that rose up was in full Greek battle armor he looked down at us his head was partially melted his joints cracked with rust and across his chest was the words Wash Me Talos Zoe yelled over the noise Percy asked who's Talos Thalia said it was one of heaphestus creations It's to small to be real it's a prototype an defective model at that word it drew its sword the sound was horrible it was rusty but it looked like it would feel like getting hit by a battleship someone took something Zoe looked at Percy he said he's a lot of things but he's not a thief Bianca looked guilty Talos took one step towards us covering half the distance and shaking the ground Grover yelled run we split up like we did with the nemian lion Thalia drew her shield and held it up as she ran down the highway he giant swung its sword and took out a row of power lines that exploded in sparks and scattered across Thalia's path Zoe's arrows whistled toward the creatures face and they shattered harmlessly Grover brayed like a baby goat and went climbing up a mountain of trash Bianca me and Percy ended up next to each other Percy yelled at her you took something the bow no Percy yelled at her to throw it down she didn't take the bow she took something besides it's too late then a giant shadow blotted out the sky move we all tore down a hill all of us beside those other I heard Grover try to get Talos attention but instead the monster raised its sword to smash us all flat Grover payed his reed pipes and the Power lines danced around and one hooked around his back leg the line sparked sending a jolt of electricity up its backside Talos whirled around creaking and sparking Grover had bought us a few seconds come on at Bianca she stayed frozen from her pocket she pulled out a small figurine a statue of a god it...it was for nico it was the only statue he didn't have there were tears in her eyes I knew what was going to happen Percy yelled at her to throw it down maybe the giant will leave us alone she tree it down but nothing happened the giant kept it stabbed its sword into the mountain Grover was on missing him by a few feet but the mountain collapsed in top of him Thalia yelled form my right she pointed her spear and a blue arc of lightning flew out and hit the giants knee it buckled but immediately started to rise again he raised his foot to stomp I saw its sole there was a hole in its foot like a large manhole there was red words painted around it for maintenance only. I got an idea I told them my plan they both yelled telling me it was suicide distract it Bianca gritted her teeth I'll go no it's my plan we argued Percy told Bianca to let me go Bianca reluctantly let me go one last thing if I die Bianca tell nico I fulfilled my promise I flashed back to that promise I was getting ready to go on the quest and I walked to the pavilion I saw nico and walked up to him I asked what he was doing he was easdropping he told me to promise something on the river styx I did he told me to protect bianca I knew he trusted me I was like a brother to him I told I would try. I charged at the monster left foot luckily Thalia had its attention for the moment the giant was big but slow I got right next to its foot trying to balance myself on the metal shifting on its weight Zoe yelled at me what are you doing I yelled back get it to raise its foot Zoe shot an arrow at its nostril the giant straightened and shook its head hey junk by down here Percy yelled and stabbed its foot with riptide the blade made a gash in its bronze foot the plan worked and it raised its foot per y turned and ran I jumped and grabbed the latch and opened it I climbed inside right before its foot hit the ground I could hear yelling outside but I climbed up a ladder and walked into the head there were levers and buttons I felt it raise its arm and throwing me around I heard Percy and Thalia tell Grover so I got to work I pushed a button and it leaned its head to the side I pushed more buttons and it moved the arms and legs I pushed another button and it formed a fist I took out my sword and cut a hole it it's head in order to jump out I pulled a lever and the arm swim and hit its face it shook the head and threw me around again I heard percy and Bianca yelling my name I pushed more buttons and levers Talos started to stager around it staggered toward the power lines and I tied to jump out of the hole I made but I was to slow I heard Percy yell look out I got thrown around and tried again to get out of the hole I made the giant hit he power lines and I flew out of the hole my head was spinning and I tried to get up I fell back down and my last sight was Percy running towards me and a giant shadow over me and darkness surrounded me. I somehow came to I don't know how maybe Apollo helped but I heard yelling and crying nearby I tried to yell help but my voice wouldn't work so I banged on the metal and footsteps ran toward me I heard the metal lifting and was blinded by the sun I saw people standing over me they pulled me out and got up my eyes adjusted and the people standing in front of me was Percy who looked a bit shaken Thalia who looked tired Grover who was still passed out Bianca and Zoe who looks as if they were crying I sat up and I was crushed in a hug i I looked around and everyone was surprised that Zoe was hugging me then she slapped me hard she yelled at me for being stupid and then there was a flash and there was the prophecy we looked at it and the line one shall be lost in the land without rain slowly disappeared everyone looked shocked and we realized we changed fate of someone I told everyone we should keep moving.
