Chapter Nine

*Carah POV*

"Ahhhh"! I screamed at the top of my lungs making my throat burn as I was stabbed in the thigh.

"Shh, Shh, Shh. There is no need for that. It will all be over soon. Don't worry". Jane said making me cringe in disgust.

"Just let me go". I said stronger than I thought possible.

"No. We need you. Don't worry Zalgo will be here soon". She said smiling then stabbed my leg again.

*five hours earlier*

"We're all out of black licorice"! I heard Ben yell from the kitchen.

We all slightly chuckled and he came running into the living room. He turned off the TV and stared daggers at all of us.

"I am serious. That shit is my Zen. If I don't get it I will kill all of you motherfuckers"! He said making us all laugh more.

I stood up."Don't worry I'll go get you some more". He calmed and nodded. I stuck my hand out and he stared at it."well I have no money". I said earning a laugh from behind me.

A tentacle put twenty dollars in my hand and I turned smiling at Slenderman.

"Do you pay for everything for us"? I asked as he nodded then warped away.

"Okay I'll be back". I said grabbing my knife and putting it in my boot.

"Wait I'll come with". Maksy said jumping off the couch. "you shouldn't go alone". He said earning a smile from me. We nodded to everyone else and walked out the front door.

"Wait we can use a car for this". He said pulling me around the building and too another long building. He opened the door and pulled me into the dark room. He flipped a light switch revealing a row of cars and trucks. There was ten, maybe. All of them were nice but the one that I loved the most was the black Dodge truck. It was lifted and had beautiful silver rims. The black was so clean I could see my reflection.

"That one". I said pointing at it.

"Nice choice". He said grabbing the keys from a hook on the wall.

I jumped in the passenger side and yawed at the leather interior and the touch screen radio system. I turned to 104.5 and luckily Nine Inch Nails was playing. I hummed along to the song as Maksy drove to the store.

"I'll just be a couple minutes". I said unbuckling my seat belt.

"okay". Maksy said hesitantly.

I opened the door and walked towards the store that was named Warehouse Market as I walked to the candy section I noticed no one else was in the store. I thought this was weird but quickly let it go as I turned down the row. I saw the black licorice and grabbed four bags since they were only $4.50 a bag.

As I turned around I saw someone quickly walk past the row. They went by so fast I couldnt tell who it was. I cautiously made my way to the end and peeked around the corner. I didn't see anyone so I proceeded to go back to the front of the store. When I turned back down the candy row and walked down it I noticed the florescent light over my head flickering. As I turned the corner I came face to face with Nina.

"Miss me dear"? She asked cocking her head. I had no time to react before her fist collided with the side of my head hitting my temple.

The blow might of killed me but I could still feel movement and hear noises. They were muffled but pliable.
