>>> Plan 1: Be A Dramatic Little Shit

William Xaviers

“Check that one out” Jake whispered to me, pointing at the hot blonde who had just passed us. I looked her over, she was definitely hot with her voluptuous body but her face was caked with makeup. My brother sat beside me and he scowled at Jake.

“Don’t encourage him, you asshole.” He said, stuffing another spoonful of ice cream into his mouth.

“Kyle, don’t be jealous. You got a mate so you can’t check out hot girls any longer while we both are mate less and looking to get laid.” Jake replied, gesturing between him and me.

I smirked as Jake argued with my brother. Catching the eye of a cute brunette, I winked at her making her flush instantly. My brother had always been one of those nice guys who looked for commitment and all that love shit while Jake; his best friend and Beta was the complete opposite. The last time some girl had asked him to be her boyfriend, he had ran out of there full speed. If there was anyone scared of commitment it would be him. I always felt sorry for his mate. Kyle was lucky to meet his mate when he turned seventeen. He has never looked at another girl after her. I, on the other hand, am not that keen to have a mate so soon either, which is one of the reasons why Jake and I get along so well.

Jake’s the biggest whore in town, the only time he isn’t horny is when we are doing some serious werewolf business which is once in a blue moon. I am known for my player ways and I don’t really give a shit, because it is in fact true. I do sleep with a lot of girls and it’s not my fault they fall for me. I am a young handsome guy, if a girl is hot and wants me, what’s wrong with having a little bit of fun. Though being the gentleman I am, I always inform them that I do not plan on looking for a long time relationship.

Some of them think that if I sleep with them, I will change my mind which is pathetic in a way. I am not going to change for a long long time.

“Yeah, Kyle. Chill. I was checking her out anyway. Jake just voiced my thoughts.” I said, breaking up their argument before Jake brought out the Alpha in Kyle. Kyle was to be Alpha in a few years and I had no problem with that, I couldn’t deal with all the Alpha stuff. And Lacey, Kyle’s mate was perfect for future Luna of the pack so I was fortunately duty-free as well as mate less, what else could I ask for.

“See! Now daydream about Lacey while Will and I try to get ourselves some dates for the night.” Jake slipped out of his seat and threw a smirk towards the blonde who had passed us earlier. She smiled seductively back as Jake made his way over to her. I got up slowly, my eyes skimming across the girls present in the mall, some were already checking me out with lustful eyes while others were glancing at me now and then. I was about to move towards one of the fake blondes standing with her friends near one of the boutiques when I was suddenly surrounded by a delicious smell. I looked around trying to spot the source and my eyes fell on a girl who came out of the book shop on the opposite side of where I stood, her hair tied up in a messy bun with strands sticking out and two pens stuck on top of it. I couldn’t make out whether her hair was dark brown or black, her black glasses amplified her dark eyes eyes. My mind went into frenzy as my wolf howled in happiness and I kept staring just as the girl made her way towards us, her face stuck in a story book, her eyebrows furrowed in concentration.

I focused to see there was a wolf printed on the cover of the book she was reading, her face hidden beneath it, making me curious what her features were like.

Unlike most of the girls there, she was wearing a long white T-shirt with some sort of symbol – I think it was from that movie ‘Harry Potter’- on it and black jeans with light blue converse. She seemed invisible to everyone around her, as she kept glancing from the top of the book to make sure she didn’t run into something. Suddenly, she looked up and straight into my eyes. Her dark brown orbs quickly glancing away as her face turned down in a frown and she lowered the book slightly, as if she was suddenly confused.
