A promise is important, thats what you said to me. You told me you'd never break a promise, that they were something important to you. That keeping them was your goal.
"Everyone leaves me, no one ever stays"
"I'm not going to leave" you'd say, "I'm always going to be here with you I promise".
Where did you go? why arent you here now? what did I get so wrong about us. Why was I not good enough, why did I make you leave?
"You said you promised me that you wouldn't leave?"
"Things change" you shrugged it off. You shrugged off the burden that was forcing you down. That burden being me.
