You were so kind. Your smile was so warm and inviting, so beautiful.
You were gentle and kind it was such a pleasant change from what I'm use to.
You told me a story on the way to drop me home, about your brother and your mother. About how when they needed you most you were there. You told me about work and it was clear just how passionate you were about helping others. The kind of person I had been waiting for, but it wasn't meant to be despite it being what I wanted you wouldn't have wanted me.
Months go by, we talk on and off work had been keeping you very busy and you'd been so occupied with it. Every time we talked it made me smile.
I was out with my friends much like the first night that we'd properly met, my friends and I were laughing and dancing and of course, drinking too many shots. My phone buzzed in my bag and I reached in and pulled it out
"are you out"
I climbed out of my taxi and tried to be as quiet as I could as I waked up your front steps, you met me at the door and made sure I was able to climb the billions of stairs up to your room. I was extremely restless that night and you offered to call me a cab home but I refused and said I was fine because I was, apart from the fact that it was freezing and your blanket was thinner than paper (you should probably fix that).
Bright and early the next morning you woke me up so that I could go home, you said you were meeting your grandparents for breakfast. Adorable I know.
I hadn't spoken to you much after that, only now and then basic conversations and such.
