Laurence's POV:

Took some time off my butt! I can easily tell that Garroth just quit. But honestly, there's no way that just my absence caused him to become so... sad. Something else must've happened.

We decided to walk there which was most likely a mistake. What's usually a ten minuet drive turned out to be a half hour walk and for two people who haven't gotten out much for the last year it was pretty tiring.

We walked in and a rather shocked Kawaii-Chan showed us to a table.

"Kawaii~Chan is pretty buisy at the moment and will have annother worker come and take your orders in a minuet." She smiled.

KC walked back out into the kitchen her black tail swishing from side to side. I picked up one of the ribbon covered menues and skimmed over my options.

"Wow. It's been so long!" I muttered, "I bearly remember any of these!"

I looked over at Garroth who was reading over my shoulder. He looked equally confused and still a little tired from the walk.

I placed the menue back on the table so that we could both read it.

"Humm... Maby..." He thought allowed. a second later he shook his head, his slightly over grown blonde hair waiving to and fro, "I'm not hungry."

I raised my eye brow and he smiled meekly.

"Nope!" I answered.

"What?"

"Nope! I'm not eating if you're not eating and then what would've been the point in us coming here? I didn't see you eat breakfast and we came here for lunch. You might've starved yourself while I was gone but there's no way I'ma let you continue while I'm back."

Garroth tried to think of an excuse but failed miserably. He ended up choosing a waffer basket which was around 3 scoops of ice cream, chocolate sause and oreos in a bowl made of waffer. (Real desert (try it)) Meanwhile I chose a tripple chocolate fudge cake.

"Can I help you two boys?" I new girl asked.

She wore a deep green dress with matching accessories. She had long brown hair and box glasses.

"Kim?" I asked, surprised to see my old school friend.

She smiled and nodded, pushing her glasses back up with the eraser end of her pencil.

"Nice to see you again Laurence. You too G-Garroth!"

She looked across to him, her face getting slightly more pink. She quickly snapped her attension back to her small notepad and asked us what we'd like.

We placed our orders and she went to fetch them.

Garroth's POV:

By the time Kim came back Laurence had to quickly go and use the rest room. She place our treats down on the table and took a seat in the extra chair next to me.

I'd seen Kim at alot of the parties last year. I think it was all except for Katelyn's victory party. I'd had a few good conversations with her and I'd feel really bad if she too found out how sad I was. During thoes days when I had or (verry rarely) wanted to leave the house I pretended to be fine and not try to drag everyone down with me, so Kim really had no clue about my undiagnosed depression.

"So uh... Garroth. I wanted to ask," She nervously smiled,

"Go aheah! Ask me anything!" (Coming soon to tumbler; Ask ruby truth Garroth anything! JK Nah.)

"Well um... There's this guy I like but I'm not really sure how to tell him that." She explained, "I remember from high school; girls would ask you and Lauence out all the time so..."

"Yeah I get it." I grinned, cutting her off, "Peronally I prefer it when girls just ask me up strait but it really differs from person to person."

Her eyes lit up and she grinned. She thanked me before remembering that she was working and had to go and help serve other tables.

Laurence came back soon after and we ate our delicious food.
