Laurence's Pov:

Just to clarify, that did all really happen. Seeing as it's a mini game potion, it works in weird ways.

Anyway, Lucinda got really mad at us for using the potion even though we were told not to but we didn't really care... or even listen.

For the next 48 hours we were infected with a common cold type desease called the epic gay. It's basically where everything you see is in technicolour with highlighter shades everywhere and all types of shine and glitter become holographic.

This is what the body does to first adjust to the now mega gay within it.

(As a science person I can confirm that this is tru)

But we where both ok with it. We where both ok with alot of things now.

Our feelings where out in the open and life was all good.

Garroth's POV:

While that wasn't the way I was expecting for things to go down, I'm still happy it went down at all. I don't think I even fully knew I liked him that way until it was already happening...

We'd gotten alot closer after that. Before it was just watching TV on the same sofa and talked about stuff he'd missed whilst away from the rest of existance but now it actually felt like we were having propper conversations and enjoying eachother's company fully.

I may have said 'my depression was instantly cured' as a joke but for the next week after that I really didn't feel sad at all.

I suppose it was just the dust settling...

"GARROTH!" Zane screeched, breaking down my front door,

"Whaaaaaaat?" I asked, Shutting the fridge door with a snack in my hands,

"KAWAII-CHAN TOLD ON YOU!" He shouted in an almost teacher-y voice, entering the kitchen,

"Whaaaaat?" I asked, genuinly confused.

KC came scurrying in, her eyes wide and worried,

"Garroth-Kun, Kawaii-Chan is soooo sorry! She really tried to keep it a secret but she just COULDN'T! She tried to calm Zane-Senpii down but nothing's working!" She cried, grabbing onto Zane's arm in an attempt to keep him in one spot.

"Oh? OOOOH! Oh." I answered, realising what's going on, "What's the big deal? I didn't freak out when I found out YOU had a girlfriend."

I eyerolled and leaned against the fridge whilst my brother tried to grab me.

"Yeah the problem is.... He's not angry..." KC confessed, her grip tightening on his arm.

"You say wha?"

Her fingers slipped at that moment and Zane lunged towards me. Before I could react he grasped me in a tight hug,

"IM SO PROUD OF YOU!" He shouted,

I blinked a couple times,

"IT'S BEEN F*CKING FOREVER AND YOU FINNALY CONFESSED YOUR FEELINGS TO HIM! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW HARD IT WAS NOT TO START SCREAMING EVERYTIME YOU BOTH TRIED AND FAILED TO FLIRT!"

I opened my mouth to say something but honesly couldn't think of a response...

"I'VE BEEN SITTING IN SILENCE WAITING FOR THIS SHIP TO SAIL FOR YEARS! YEARS! I HAD TO LIVE IN THE SAME HOUSE AS IT AND WATCH AS YOU WERE BOTH GETTING SO CLOSE TO JUST GIVING UP AND CONFESSING ALREADY BUT IT NEVER HAPPENED!"

At that point his words became to mumbled and sniffly to comprehend but I think I get the point.

"Wait, so you knew? The hole time...." I said, bamboozled,

He slowly let go and sunk into the floor, becoming a tearfull mess and nodded.

"Actually Garroth-Kun, You and Laurence-Kun are the last people to know that you two had a thing for eachother." Kawaii-Chan smiled.

My head tilted to one side, my eyes looking dazed,

"So... this entire time.... everyone knew Laurence and I liked eachother.... when we didn't even know ourselves..."

KC nodded sheepishly and helped Zane off the floor.

"Don't worry. Nobody else knows that you two are together now. Kawaii-Chan will make sure it stays that way until you both are ready though!" She smiled and guided my brother out of the house.

And so I was left there, in the kitchen with a puddle of tears at my feet and the realisation that I was the last person to know I was gay.

Oof.

I still don't know were the plot of this is going so sorry for not updating in a while. I've been writing annother story so there's that too...
