Kathreen didn't know if her eyes were open, or closed. Either way the eerie darkness surrounded her. She felt each move, each jutted rock that Twilight stepped on.

"Twi?" Kathreen mumbled.

"Yes?"

"What time is it? Is it nighttime? Daytime? Inbetween?"

"We're too far down in the tunnels to tell. I'm sorry. " The shadow answered.

"There's no need to be." The blind girl sighed. "What did you do that made you 'evil'?"

Twilight stopped. Dead silence followed. Then, Kat felt a warm trickle of liquid on Twi's neck, where she was holding on.

"What's the matter Twi?"

Twilight's voice turned emotionless. Her eyes slitted although Kathreen could not see that.

"Never. I will never tell you Kathreen. It's not that I don't trust you, it's just the memories are too much to bear."

Kathreen noted that it sounded as if the shadow was talking through clenched teeth. Then, Twi started to walk again, as if nothing had been said.

How is it she can mask the pain so well?

Twi heard the solemn thought. And silently she answered.

Because when I was alive, it's all I was used to. Lies, masks, everything. And I had to make it in order for me to live.

"How many people did you write about?!" Stargazer looked as if she was going to go insane.

The noon light cast awkward shadows across the floor, and Stargazer was staring at them as if they were alive. Jagged shapes here and there, sharp points, rounded ones.

"Well, let's see. Kaden, Kathreen, mistress Sharp, Mr. Harrison, a and a few other kids at the orphanage. Along with people I saw walking on the streets."

"Great. That is fantastic." Stargazer muttered sarcastically.

She started to pace again, her hooves making clip-clop sounds on the tiled floor. She was obviously in deep thought. But the pacing was starting to make Seirra uneasy.

"Stargazer, would you please stop paci-"

Seirra was cut short as the midnight blue horse turned to her.

"Did you create a character after yourself?"

"Yes. I did. Is there a problem?" Seirra asked worryingly.

"Give me their name, age, what they look like, just everything about them!" Stargazer demanded.

"Okay, so her name was something like Twilight, or Dawn. She wasn't really a human, but she could've passed for one. I didn't really base her off of how I acted, but more of how I felt."

The horse stopped prancing for a few moments.

But, Dawn was killed. She couldn't have been the reason Seirra was summoned here as well. That character is dead, she 'fell' off a cliff after all. So for Seirra, it must be Asadior. I think thought maybe I could piece together some of this horrible maze.

"Oh. Thanks. That helped a little bit."

Star sat down, looking out the window. She snorted a sad snort. Before getting up again.
