Chapter 3 ~ The Call

Taehyung just grabs my wrist and pulls me into the line. Eventually, we make it up to the ride, It's a two-person-per-row ride.

"Let's sit in front!" Tae still holds onto my wrist and pulls me into the seat in front, right next to him.

I look forward to see that it goes up, and up, and up and up... then, down. Usually I love roller-coasters, but this seems a bit too, big.

"Taehyung!" I gulp "I don't think I want to ride this!"

"Too late" He gives me a cheeky smile as employees shove down the lap bar. I just close my eyes and sink my head into my shoulders. then, I feel something on my hand clenching to the lap bar. Tae slowly takes my hand off the bar and holds it tight. I can't help but turn red AGAIN. I don't open my eyes, but I hold his hand tightly as the roller-coaster guy counts down "3, 2, 1..."

Finally we get off as a gasp for air from holding my breath the whole time.

"Irene! Taetae! We hear a voice shout.

I look over my shoulder to see Lisa running over with the other three girls.

"Lisa!" Taehyung runs to her and gives her a big hug.

I just stare at them, Jennie comes over and pats me on the back in pity.

After getting re-united and having an exiting day at Thrill Kingdom. Finally, Lisa drives me home. And I make my way to my front door"

"Irene! Goodnight! See you tomorrow! Don't forget, Taehyung will be there, at school!" Lisa yells from her yellow car

"Goodnight! And I won't forget!" I call back

I go to my bedroom
(By the way, this is what is looks like)

(The bathroom is to the right, The door is to the left, and there is a window on the wall parallel to the wall with the bed)

I make sure to remove my mascara tonight, and I get into my jammies. I check the time on my phone, but only really look at my lock screen, it's a picture of me and Taehyung at age seven. *sigh* Will he ever really know how I feel? What if him and Lisa stay together, forever.

I can't help but start crying. tears drip down my cheeks and onto my phone. I wipe them with my sleeve and actually look at the time. "Oh, it's 1:30 (AM), but I need to take a shower, I'll have to be quick then."

I grab my face wash and hairbrush, and get undressed, I'm just about to get in the shower, when my phone rings, it's Taehyung. I sigh and get my phone, I press the green button, and hold it up to my ear, "Hello."

"Hiii? Why can I just see your ear?"

At that moment*

My head was spinning as I realized, It was a video chat "crud!" I hiss as I feel like I'm about to faint from embarrassment.

"Um, Irene? You okay?"

"NO! I MEAN, YEAH I TOTALLY AM FI-" I drop the phone and It lands on the floor screen up, I jump away in a millisecond to make sure he didn't see anything. "SHOOT!"

"Irene?"

"ONE SECOND!!" I run to grab a large T-shirt and put just that on, Then I carefully pick up the phone and hold it so he can just see my head. *sigh* "OKAY!"

"What the heck happened?" Taehyung looked puzzled

"SO YOU DIDN"T SEE ANYTHING!? PHEW!"

"See any-what?"

"NOTHING!"

"Okayyy... Well, the reason I called, is, I wanted to talk to you about today. Are you okay? You've been acting different lately.

"Look, I'm completely fine, I'm just really stressed out because I have a lot of homework to do, and I need to finish it tonight" I lie

Taehyung furrows his eyebrows and sighs "okay, if that's what you say, you know you can tell me anything right?"

"Yes, I know I can..."  No, I can't "Well, I have to go now, byeeee!''

"Wait! You can go, but first, what in the world happened when I called you and you dropped your phone and stuff?"

"Heh, heh, well" I look down at my bare legs and T-shirt. "It was nothing! BYE!"

"WAIT-!" I hang up the phone

"Phew! Now I can finally get in the shower!" I take off my T-shirt and hop in the shower.
