Chapter 14 ~ Runaway

The next day, I meet up with Lisa at college, we're talking, until Jimin comes over, Lisa looks down.

"Hey guys!" He greets us.

I say hello.

"Lisa are you okay?" Jimin asks.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She turns and walks away.

"O-okay." he stutters.

*Jimin's POV*

Is Lisa alright? Well she obviously isn't, maybe I should ask Taehyung.

I go to find Taehyung, and I see him standing with Jungkook and Rose talking.

"Taehyung-ah, can I talk to you for a minute?"

"Sure."

We walk to an empty corner.

"Is Lisa okay?" I ask him.

"I'm honestly not sure, she's been less bubbly today, I hope she's alright."

"Right." I sigh. Taehyung really cares about her, she deserves someone like him, I should stop bothering her.

"Are you okay though." Taehyung asks.

"Umm, well, I- *sigh* not really." Why did I say that! Now he'll ask why!

"Why, what's wrong." Taehyung asks, as expected.

Should I tell him? He'll find out at some point, and he's one of my best friends. *sigh*

"Taehyung, I'm so sorry, I,IkindalikeLisa!

Taehyung sighs. "That's ok, you can't control your emotions."

My eyes tear up. "I'm so happy you understand!" He cries.

We hug.

*End of Jimin's POV*

After school, I head to the park with Mingyu.

"So, are you okay?" Mingyu asks

"Yup! I'm totally fine!" I actually am, now I know that I might have a chance with Taehyung!!!

"Well okay then! What's the cause though?"

"Well! Guess what! Lisa says that she kinda likes Jimin!"

"Huh!!!"

"Yup! So if that lasts, she and Tae will have to part. Then I'll have a chance with him!" I exclaim while dancing. "And Taehyung said he doesn't feel like he did when him and Lisa first got together."

"Well, I guess that's good."

"Is it bad that I'm happy they will probably break up?" I ask.

"Umm, well, kinda." He honestly says. "But that means that you really, d-do love him." Mingyu laughs nervously.

I just look at him with a straight face. "That's true." I sigh.

"Now what's left?" He looks at me like he knows.

I actually don't know.

"Um, w-what." I lean back in nervousness.

*sigh* "It's pretty obvious." He raises his eyebrows.

I just look at him with a confused smile.

"You need to confess!" He swings his arms up as he revealed that.

"Oh, I, I knew that, heh heh." I insist.

"You can't just expect him to come straight to you! You have to take part too." He leans his head.

We make our way down the pathway cutting between oak trees, until we come to an end, we stay silent, I'm just thinking. Until finally Mingyu breaks the silence.

"If you really love him, confessing won't be a problem." He puts his hand on my shoulder.

"B-but I, I can't." My head hangs.

Mingyu sighs. "Well, you'll have to, Taehyung probably hasn't realized his feel-"

"I said I can't!!" I bawl. Without thinking, I run away, through the trees, leaving Mingyu behind.

"Wait!" I can hear a voice echoing through the trees.

I just keep running.

I'm not quite sure how far I ran, but I knew when I went too far. Before I knew it, I was lost, in the middle of nowhere. I could no longer hear Mingyu's voice, or anything, as a matter of fact.

I collapse to my knees and position my face wet with tears in my hands, covering my face.

After crying, and crying. I can finally hear something.

"Irene?!" I hear the guy's voice getting closer.

"Mingyu!" I call standing up, and brushing the leaves off my pants. I see him emerge from the trees and run to me.

"Irene!" He hugs me. "Are you alright?"

Everything turns into a blurry echo, my head is spinning. What's happening?!

*Mingyu's POV*

"Irene!" I hug her. "Are you alright?"

*No answer*

"IRENE!" She goes limp in my arms, and almost falls on the ground, thankfully I was hugging her, so I caught her.
