Yuichiro's pov- We all sat aorund a table and listened to Gurren talk about training extra hard. "The vampires will attack us again and we need to be ready." Every one was pumped now. "Let's kill those blood suckers!" Someone yelled but I didn't say a word. I couldn't stop thinking about Mikaela and if I would see him again during the battle or if I would be too late.
"Yuichiro are you home?" Gurren hit my head really hard. "Ouch what was that for!" Gurren sighed and called me to his office. I nodded knowing I would get a lecture from him but I was surprised to find out that wasn't what he had in mind when he spoke to me. So after the meeting I went to his office. " Look Gurren if your gonna give me a lecture then go for it but I wont listen to you." He shook his head and pointed to the chair where I sat down. "That's not why I brought you here Yu and you know that. Tell me what's on your mind. I can't have my best solider going out on to the battle field if his heart isn't in the fight." I sighed and told him about how I was worried that I wouldn't get to Mikaela in time or that I would have to fight him again. Gurren nodded and sat their just listening to what I had to say. "Well I can promise you that you will meet him again in the battle but it will be up to you if you fight him or if you save him Yu. No one can make you do something you don't want to do." I nodded feeling a lot better now. "Thanks Gurren your right and I know that were gonna go out their and kick those blood suckers butts."
