The final battle

Shinoa's pov- Finally the battle day had come as I glanced over at Yu to see what he was thinking. He wasn't fully cheerful yet but I could see that he was slowly starting to come around. "Hey Yu...is this about Mikaela?" I asked softly all ready knowing the answer. He got stiff and then sighed looking down. "Yeah...I'm just worried that they did something horrible to him." He said softly looking down as he clenched his hand into a fist. I nodded understanding where he was coming from. "Well maybe you'll see him today in the fight. Then you can talk to him and save him too!" He nodded making me smile a bit. 'Maybe I manged to cheer him up a bit more.' I thought as I walked along side him.

Mikaela's pov- My team moved out but I stayed behind to find Yu of course though I had to make sure that no one on my team knew about this either. "Hey Mika come on were heading out!" I heard my team mates call out to me and I knew I had to think of a way out of going. "Yeah you guys go on ahead of me I have orders from the queen to stay behind and question and kill any one that may have survived our attack." They both nodded knowing better then to question the queens orders we all did really. They didn't say another word and walked away as I turned around to see one of the humans from the ambush we had draw her sword. I could tell from first glance that she was a higher racking then the others.

"I'll never answer any of your questions vampire scum!" She yelled at me and spit at my feet as she charged at me her sword in hand. I took mine out and quickly blocked her attack. "Look I don't want to fight and don't really care if your dead or alive I just want to find out where Yu is!" She looked a bit shocked at my words and slowly lowered her sword showing that she was willing to talk. "Do you mean Yuichiro?" I nodded getting a bit excited that she knew my brother and I was getting closer to finding him. "Why are you looking for him?" She seemed a bit unsure and griped her sword though it was still lowered. "I need to find him because he's my brother!" I yelled at her with tears in my eyes making her see that I really cared and soon she told me everything. I thanked her and quickly ran off to go and find Yu. 'I'm coming Yu!' I though a smile on my face as I ran away to go and find him.
