Sounds of Silence

I was sitting back while I watched Barry catch the Royal Flush gang and I rolled my eyes "Hey Mia, I see a little tension between you and Barry. What's wrong?" Cisco asked and I sighed "Nothing, just drop it." I told him and Barry came back. The others cheered him on and I cleared my throat and looked at my charts for my training. "We need a picture." Cisco said and I just sat down and rolled my eyes "Pretty sure rule number one of having a secret identity is not taking pictures of yourself in your super suit without a mask on." Barry said and I scoffed "Who cares, I know I don't want to be in this picture. I'll be in the training room if you need me." I said and went to train.

I focused on my body and I closed my eyes then opened to see I was fully invisible. I heard footsteps and I turned back and I saw Dr. Wells "That was impressive Miss Allen. Your getting stronger." He said and I smiled "Thanks, um can I ask you something?" I asked and he shrugged "Go ahead." "Do you think one day I can be a hero like Barry? Maybe be more powerful then him?" I asked and he smiled "You already are. You have the power to save people, you just have to believe in your self." Dr. Wells said and I nodded. He was about to leave whenever my head started hurting and I yelped in pain "Mia, what is it?" He asked rolling over to me in his wheelchair and he grabbed my arm and I saw him in his house but the weirdest thing was, he was walking. I heard this familiar voice, "It's time to pay the piper" I heard and I saw the windows of his house shatter. I was back in S.T.A.R. Labs and I looked at Dr. Wells "Mia, are you okay?" he asked and I nodded "I am now, but I think your in danger." I told him and he frowned.

"I'm pretty sure everything is gonna be fine." Dr. Wells said as we went into the cortex to the elevator and I sighed. Dr. Wells left and I got very suspicious so I followed him to his house to see if he was safe. His house was big but not huge. I watched the house for any intruder's but no one came. I suddenly heard a crash and I transported in to see Dr. Wells on the ground and I made sure he was fine. "Mia, what are you doing here?" Dr. Wells asked and I just shushed him "I told you were in danger." I told him and he frowned.

I stayed with Dr. Wells as the police came and Joe and Barry came in "Hey" "Hey, what are you doing here?" Barry asked and I sighed "Come in." Dr. Wells said to them and I smiled "Look, Joe, I apologize for all of this. It just- it really feels like a case of so much for so little. The police should not have been called. I got a prank call before all this happened. Mia came saving me, but rest assure I didn't feel the need for her to come." Dr. Wells said and I frowned "This feels like more than just a prank, Doctor." "Yeah, if I wouldn't of shown up, you would have been toast." I told him and Joe sighed. "Well, there are those who feel I did not suffer enough for the particle accelerator explosion of last year, and some of them act on it. And Mia, thank you." Dr. Wells said and I nodded to him as Caitlin and Cisco came running in. "Dr. Wells are you okay?" "Dr. Snow, I'm fine. A little chilly. Otherwise, I'm fine. Hello, Cisco. Make yourselves at home as best you can. I'm going to make a hotel reservation." he said and I sighed "Hey, what took you guys so long?" Barry asked and I frowned "We got lost." "We've never been here before." Caitlin said and me and Barry looked at each other "Really? Never." "He tends to keep his private life private." Caitlin said and I frowned and nodded."Hey, Mia, so how did you know Dr. Wells was in danger?" Barry asked and I frowned "I don't know. I uh I was talking with Dr. Wells and my head suddenly felt like it was on fire and then when Dr. Wells grabbed my arm I saw him, he was knocked to the ground and glass shattered. I could of sworn that he..." "That he what?" Barry asked and I looked to Caitlin and Cisco and they looked worried "I can't remember. It's a bit blurry after that." I lied and I walked out.
