"Charlotte!!" I hear my mom yell from downstairs. I race down the steps to see Carmen, Abby, and my mom already out the door. I hopped in the passenger seat of our car and watched as we backed out of the parking lot we were in.
Right now, we were going to and surprise the boys at the airport, since they were flying back to the USA. My family and I decided we needed a little vacation, so we took a plane to Los Angeles and rented a beautiful hotel room to stay at for a few weeks.
As I was shaking in excitement, Abby and Carmen were jamming out to the guys' new song 'Hooked'. I looked down to see a written note that I had kept for Jack ever since he left for the Europe tour. I wrote down many of my feelings onto that paper, and I hope Jack will appreciate it.
Once my mom parked the car, I rushed to the airport doors and waited.. not to far and not to close to where the guys' would come out. Every few minutes or so, a fan or two would come up to me so they could have their picture taken. I waited for about 10 minutes until I heard many loud screams coming from across the building. Why Don't We. I remained in my spot with Abby and Carmen, until I saw the face of my best friend..Jonah Marais.
He found me so quickly as he scanned the room of fans. Without hesitation, we both ran up to each other for a tight hug. Remaining in our hug, I saw the others running up to us with their arms out to join the group hug.
I noticed Jack was nowhere to be seen yet. I stayed behind Jonah as him and the guys passed many fans surrounding us. We all made it out quickly and found my mom, Abby, and Carmen waiting for me. We all exchanged our greetings and waited outside of the airport for Jack.
Carmen, who was on Jonah's shoulders, looked around the room for Jack. She kept tapping Jonah's head of hair from time to time, until she started to tap his head rapidly. He was in the crowd..giving many fans hugs and autographs.
Deciding to walk up and surprise him, a few fans noticed me. I put my finger to my mouth as they did not scream nor point at me. Once I was inches away from Jack, I wrapped my arms around his waist, waiting for a response.
Jack turned around quickly and grew the biggest grin he had ever made. He lifted me into the air and spun me around, which caused every single fan in the airport to scream for us. We gave each other the tightest hug, and connected our lips very passionately as the room got louder. Quickly walking out, our family and friends surrounded us as we never let go of one another the whole time.

Jack's Pov
I sat and listened to the noisy chatter filling the room. The boys and I invited Charlotte's family to our home for a mini party. We all were gathered in the living room connecting with one another.
At last, I stood up and walked to the door. "We'll be right back." I said with my eyes on Charlotte. She stood up from her seat and followed me outside. We took the car in our driveway to a little park up a few blocks away.
I had been planning this for a while now. I've always wanted my first date with Charlotte to be at the one place I like to visit for peace and quiet. I parked the car in a little empty parking lot, where a nature trail caught our attention. I took Charlotte's hand as we walked on the trail for a bit until we reached a marvelous view of a waterfall.
We sat down in a patch of grass, admiring the beautiful waterfall along with the orange and pink sunset. "I love you Charlotte." I say, kissing my love's cheek. She grew a smile that shined brighter than the stars. We both layed down and talked for the longest time..I didn't want it to end.
"Here.." Charlotte says reaching into her pocket. She pulled out a note and gave it to me. "Promise me that you will read and keep this letter?" I nod my head and put the note into my own pocket. "Promise that you'll think of me whenever you spot a waterfall?" We connect our lips one last time before leaving our spot.
As I sat in the car with Charlotte sleeping in the passenger seat, I took Charlotte's note out of my pocket and opened it up..
Life is a treasure. It lead us to this road, out of the many there could be. I never knew what people meant when they say you will appreciate the smallest of memories as you get older..until now. The smallest of gifts can turn into the biggest change of one's life.
When I met you, Jack Avery, you were the small gift that changed my world. After the passing of my father, life felt like a train passing by to hit me 24/7. I did not know what to do nor what I could do. Although you changed that, I am now confident, passionate, and so overjoyed that life paid me back in a good way. You taught me how to be me again.
The adventure we have been on so far has been quite a ride. I hope to never experience tragedy of leaving you nor you leaving me for good, although I think we're ok for now. I love you Jack Robert Avery. Never forget that.
In the toughest times of life, God is with both of us. He has carried us through the storm and put us down at the beginning of the new road. I can't wait to find out where this new road takes us :)

I smiled at that note for the longest time, until my head lifted towards the sun hiding behind the clouds, also watching as the moon prepared itself to create light for this marvelous night.
