Dear diary,

Today is the seventh day of suspension.

I sigh as I finish eating breakfast. I put all of the dishes in the sink and pick up my phone, which had lit up.

Hi Hon,

We've now gotten to Australia.

That's the entire message from my mother. I roll my eyes and close my phone. I shove my phone in my pocket and walk down the hall into my room. I take a seat on my desk and open up my laptop.

Connor hadn't been back since Friday, and it was now Sunday. Not that it necessarily mattered, but I still wondered where he could be.

I open up my laptop and the first thing that pops up is that I had a message from my Math teacher. I groan as I open it up. I read through it. Another assignment, that now added up to the other two I had gotten during the few days I had been absent.

I sigh in frustration as I close the email; I leave my computer open as I walk over to my school bag. I zip open my bag and pull out my Math textbook. I also grab my workbook and walk back over to my desk.

'I might as well have at least one productive day while I'm suspended.'

I sit my pencil down and arch my back, letting out a groan when I hear a satisfying pop. I rest my head on the back of my chair and close my eyes. I've been studying for what felt like a few hours. I glance over at the clock which was hanging on the wall which read '3:48'.

I decide that I should take a rest as I stand up. I walk out of my room and down the hall to the kitchen. You open the fridge and pull out some stuff to make a sandwich. Once I finish making my sandwich I sit down at the counter and begin eating. The room is silent as I continue to eat.

It felt good to just sit in the nice peace and quiet. After everything that has happened throughout the past few weeks I just wanted to relax. Although with school I found that to be impossible. But just for now, I will try to relax myself.

My head was still racing, everything has happened so quickly, and I had no idea what to do next.

Once I finish eating I put my dishes in the sink and make my way back to my room. Just as I get to my room, my phone goes off once again. I pull my phone to see a message from an unknown number.

Hey (y/n), it's Greg.

I was shocked. I didn't think he'd even remember my name let alone my number.

Hi Uncle Greg.

I reply reluctantly, I knew he wanted something, but I wasn't sure what it was.

Are you at home?

I really didn't want to say yes but I didn't want to lie.

Yes, I'm home.

I sit and wait for the reply.

I'm dropping Lucas off at your place for a few days.

I groan as I throw my head back. The last person I wanted to see was Lucas. He was my cousin, who was only a few months older than me. When we were younger he'd always bother me, which was if he could ever find me. I can only hope that he isn't as annoying as he used to be.

Okay.

I reply and chuck my phone down onto the desk. I rest my arms on the desk and lean my head onto them. That's just what I need right now, a bothersome idiot bombarding in on my peace. I groan as I feel myself slowly falling asleep, my eyes slip closed and I nod off into a peaceful slumber.

.... and it was kinda shitty.
