Dear diary,

Today was the second Monday of school...

After an entire weekend of relaxing and doing housework I was back at school, which I am definitely not happy about.

Just as I was about to head into the class early to ask the teacher about the assignment that was due soon I hear a student yell.

"Murphy and Jones are fighting behind the art building!"

I stop walking towards class and rush along with the rest of the students. Once I get there I see Alfred Jones with a bloody nose and Connor with blood coming from his mouth and nose as well as an already forming black eye.

"C'mon Jones, kick his ass!"

"Give him what he deserves!"

I growl when I hear all of the students rooting for Alfred. I let out a huff as I push past the students roughly, all of them letting out angered grumbles. I jump right inbetween the two.

"Back of Jones" I growl at the blond teen.

"Or what?" He sneers.

I could feel my legs shaking, but I knew what to do to protect my only friend.

'Just remember what Andrew taught me and I'll be fine.'

"Or I'll kick your ass, dickwipe" I threaten, my voice was low and threatening.

Alfred grins and charges at me. I hear Connor shout something behind me before I swiftly dodge Alfred's swing and slamming my fist into his shoulder. He lets out a strangled yelp before turning back around. He manages to catch me off guard and punch me in the nose. A grunt escapes my lips as I fly back, landing on the ground.

"You really think you can beat me, girl." he snarls.

With a huff I stand back up, crossing my arms over my chest.

"I don't know, can I?"

~~~
So after a long and gruelling fight, the teacher broke it up. I ended up with a seriously bloody nose and cut just under my eye. I manage to give Alfred a black eye and a few bruises.
Now the three of us were sitting in the nurses office, all bandaged up.
"Well (L/n)," Alfred starts, "you can fight, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to kick either of your asses later."
After that he leaves to get picked up by his parents.
"Thank you, (y/n)" Connor says, glancing at me.
"No problem," I nod, "I'm going to get going, bye."
"Yeah, bye" I hear Connor just as I leave.
Instead of going home straight away I decide to go to the shops so I can get some groceries. Since everyone was either at school or at work the streets were quite quiet.
~~~

Once I finally get all of the things I need I head off back home to make dinner. Just as I'm about to head down my street a voice stops me.

"(Y/n)."

I turn to see Connor standing behind me, his school bag still on his back.

"Connor, shouldn't you be home?" I ask as he walks up to me.

"I did go home," he replies, "but Larry lost his shit, so I left."

"Alright then, let's go." I smile and we begin walking again.

~~~
"So, then I got stuck in the tree by my dress," I grin, "and no one found me for almost an hour."
"Seriously?" Connor replies.
"Yeah," I chuckle, "I had to yell really loud."
I finished washing the final dish that I used to make dinner and sit it on the drying rack.
"Alright," I chime, "let's have a horror movie marathon."
"Wait, how long are you suspended for?" Connor asks.
"Two weeks," I reply, grabbing a bunch of junk food for later and heading for the lounge, "you?"
"The same" I hear him say as I sit all the food down and grab the first DVD.
I put the disc in and plop down next to Connor.
"Time to waste our suspension"
...and it kinda hurt.
