"Where am I?" I said staring at the ruins of a planet.

"WHERE AM I?" I yelled at the dragon.

The dragon I was yelling at was Mothu, the master of the universe. Mothu was infinitely powerful and could do anything he wanted just by blinking. Even though he had created the universe, he mostly liked to watch what happened rather than do anything. Occasionally, Mothu did intervene and talk to someone directly. Which is what he was currently doing right now with me.

Mothu stared straight ahead, ignoring me.

I watched the planet pieces floating apart, drifting endlessly into space. I noticed my hands were covered in a pitch-black goo of some sorts. I looked at them with intrigue, strangely calm, too calm.

To my horror, I found I could no longer control my body. Even though I was internally screaming, I couldn't display it.

"Dragon." I said calmly watching as the black goo spread onto my arms, "Please tell me where I am."

This is maddening, I thought creeped out by the goo spreading over my arms, I can't do anything.

The dragon turned his head toward me, finally acknowledging my presence, "I am the master of the universe, but you can call me Mothu. I am giving you a view of the past.

I remembered my parents telling me about Mothu the master of the universe, and how some people claimed they had seen him. How he would pop up in dreams, giving you a look at the future. I had thought it was a myth. Until now, when I found myself staring face to face with Mothu, the master of the universe.

I tried to say, "You're real?!?" but I couldn't control my body.

I felt like I was watching a movie from one of the audience's perspective. My thoughts were still my own, but other than that I was helpless. A view of the past? I thought, what does he mean by that?

"The past?" the fake me said with no emotion, "why would you show me the past?"

Mothu closed his eyes and sighed, "This is not just any part of the past." Mothu said as four men flew overhead.

I watched as the men blew up multiple planets with ease. How could anyone be that strong??? I wondered with fright, those guys are monsters!

"Those four men are Brock, Brick, Brack, and Bryck." Mothu explained as the four of them flew into the distance. "They were once the greatest threat to udrumanity. Before the three explorers sealed them away."

"Good, riddance." The fake me said.

Mothu sighed. "Not everything is how it appears. History is always told from the victor's side of things. Unless we can separate fact from fiction, History is doomed to repeat itself-"

"Xavier! Wake up!" A voice yelled, snapping me awake.

"W-huh?" I sat up to see a tall man with dark brown wavy hair and a deep voice looking down on him. "Dad!?!" I said groggily. I rubbed my eyes and groaned.

"Who else would it be? The gingerbread man???" He said sarcastically.

Dad's name was Lukas and he was a very punctual man. He always liked to be on time. Most people who knew him thought it was because he used to serve in the military, but the truth was he had always been like that.

Unfortunately for him, his only child wasn't exactly as prompt as he was.

"It's breakfast time," Dad impatiently barked, his arms crossed, "your mom and I have been waiting for you, now hurry up and get ready!" Dad seemed to loom over him as he waited for a response.
