I'm with the guards in training waiting for gramps to take us. We are talking amongst each other when I see my grandfather coming. We get in formation, but I soon drop my head when I see Rose hot on his trail. She looks so cute wearing her armor, shield and short sword. Like a complete Elven Valkyrie. She put her long hair in a ponytail that goes down to her hips.

What makes nervous is the fact that She's skipping and humming towards us as if she was going on a picnic.

I look at my guardmates, "Sorry guys"

They laugh and a 12 year old boy said, "Its okay we are use to Lady Rose's behavior. It brings joy to us. This way we will fight valiantly knowing such a beautiful girl will look at us fight."

The rest nod, 'Let's see how this ends when I kill the most and Rose will be showering me in praise! Hmph, toads who think they can eat swan meat!'

My grandfather came to us, "Attention, today is a hunting day. The majority have had a hunting in the past, so you know what to expect. The others don't, so let me tell you the rules. Don't pass the yellow fence. And if you see damage to the fence like an opening make your way back to me immediately and report what you saw. Other then that, don't hurt each other. The place we are heading to is a controlled area where we insert LV 1-3 monsters. Anything above that run away and look for someone to team up with. Remember this is life or death and I won't be holding your hand. Let's go."

We start heading towards the training area. 'Makes sense they have a secure area to train newbies. This way you lessen the Chances of unforeseen variables.'

The walk takes 30 minutes before we see a large fence. My grandfather opens it using magic, 'Is that a spell?' and turns back to us. "You guys have 3 hours. Once you see a blast of fire in the sky, come back immediately. Now go!" at that some run inside while others make parties and go inside. I was walking in, but gramps stopped me and said, "You're watching over Rose."

"What?! No! I don't even know if I'll be able to watch over myself!" I quickly said no, making Rose puff her cheeks and pout.

My grandfather shook his head, "Who told her she could come unless I agree? She didn't leave me alone and stared at me for 3 hours until I agreed. Now you have to look after her." I was about to argue when Rose walked in, "Hmph, I don't need a guard, I'm perfectly capable of defending myself."

"Go and make sure she isn't injured." I put my head down and run behind Rose.

"Hey wait up, we should stay together." I tell Rise who's ignoring me. I shrug my shoulders and keep walking behind her.

About 5 minutes into our walk I stop Rose, "He-" I cover her mouth and point to our left where two rabbit were. Except that these rabbits had a horn and the words

LV. 2 HORNED RABBIT

I duck and make Rose get as small as possible as well. We hide in a nearby bush. I whisper into her ear, "We will get close enough to where I can hit one with my spear. You head over to that Bush there and I'll lead the rabbit towards you. When it gets close to you, attack with your sword. Got it?" she is surprisingly calm and heads over to her designed spot. I get as close as I can to the rabbits. I stepped on a leaf making them alert. However, Rose made a noise on the other side detracting them long enough for me to thrust my spear at the rabbit piercing the head. I then get as big as possible to scare the rabbit into running towards Rose.

When the Rabbit sees me it retreats into the bushes, but out of nowhere a sword comes slashing at it cutting it from the mid section.

I sigh in relief that she didn't freak out over killing a living thing when a blue light is absorbed inside me followed by-
