Bee Harvesting LV. 5

Luck: LV 10 (MAX)

"Haa, these past 2 years have been quite busy" I yell Max who's next to me eating lunch.

"Yes it has boss. Especially with all the orders that are coming in, I'm surprised the bees and we are able to keep up with them." I nod at Max's comment.

Over the years we have expanded our 4 bee hives to 768 hives and counting. When the war ended many soldiers left with their family back to their original home, but about 1,000 people stayed since some didn't have homes or were too damaged from the war.

My grandfather asked if we could over them jobs. I nodded and now this city has basically become our production line. All the soldiers had undying loyalty towards my grandfather and father, who led them in battles, so I could trust them with farming techniques. However, the queen production is only led by my 4 loyal employees: Marcus, Max, Jim, and Alex. Over the years they changed into team leaders who placed loyalty and family above all. They got over their demons and now their family work for me.

The expansion of the company is doing well. We use to rely on Merchants in order to spread our product, but we stopped ever since a merchant tried to kidnap Rose. It seems that Dark Elves are treated horribly in Everglade since its believed they are corrupted elves. We never noticed since everyone was very accepting of Rose, but I guess that's what happens when the strongest being in the area is your grandfather. I don't believe the merchant made it out alive since he made my family pretty pissed.

Anyway, my mother wanted to try and sell honey by setting up shops in nearby cities. We also found other ways in promoting our honey products for example candy. Our shops also sell bread that have been prepared using honey so it's sweet. Sweet products are a luxury in this world, so our products sell quickly.

My mother, aunt, and Father are in charge of the shops and trading for right now, since no one would take a 12 year-old seriously. My grandfather is in charge of preparing the guards that protect our shipments and the town.

There have been people looking for jobs, but we only hire veterans and those in desperate need. I wanted to hire them, but my mother said that I shouldn't trust them. She usually has a good eye for people and it's not like we reject everyone who comes looking for work.

My mom has hired people from a nearby tribe, the black wolf tribe, that use to depend on war to make money by sending men to war. Now that the war has stopped they fell into hard times, so they serve as our guards. They usually keep to themselves and are very loyal.

We haven't been able to become millionaires, but we are well off. 90% of our money has gone to the village and it's people so far, while 10% goes to my family.

We have guards, farmers that plant our food, people who get sent out to take the honey to the stores, etc. We are a full functioning company.

Rumor has it that the Dwarven King buys our honey by the bulk. Oh, yea our Empire is separated into 3 kingdoms with one emperor. We have the Elf kingdom, Dwarven Kingdom, Beastmen Kingdom, and the Empire Capitol is where the emperor stays. Surprisingly, the emperor is a Gold Dragon from the Metallic Dragon Clan, but my father states that only high level officials and grandpa know this.

In conclusion, it's a good start to a small company, but I'm growing impatient since I haven't made a lot of money. I decided to start hunting monsters and investing in fertilizer, so that we can start growing fruit to sell.

"Tomorrow's the big day, right boss?" I get taken away from my thoughts when Jin asked about tomorrow.

I nod and said, "Yup, tomorrow is when I start hunting to get XP. I'll be going with the guards my grandfather is training."

Marcus then said in a displeased tone, "But why use a spear? You should have used a War Hammer! They are imposing and powerful!"

I roll my eyes, 'here we go again!' and then Max snorted, "A warhammer is too heavy to swing freely. He has to use a sword! That's the weapon of heroes!"

"A dead hero, why get up close when you can kill your enemy from a safe distance?!" The bow and arrow lover Alex chimes in.

They start arguing until Jin had enough, "Stop it! Lunch breaks Over! Get to work... after all fist are the only weapons that are reliable." They head back to work fighting over what weapon is the best.

I sigh in relief that they left until I hear-

"Azrael~" I tense up and turn around to see Rose running towards us. Don't get me wrong I love her, but she can be a handful.

She runs to me and says, "I heard you are going hunting tomorrow! Is that true?"

I nod in response and she smiled brightly, "Then I'm going to!"

I shake my head, "You need to wait a couple months in order to go with u- ow! Stop-" she pinches my cheeks

"Come on Azrael! Let me go! I swear I won't hold you guys back. Please~? Aren't I the best sister you ever had?" she starts begging with her puppy eyes. 'Ugh, she's to good at this!'

"I'll take you with me if .. listen! .. If grandpa, aunt, and dad agree. Understand?" Before I got an answer she left in the direction of the camp. Most likely to bother gramps.

I hear home to prepare my armor and weapons.
