Malia and Willow were making out on top of the large tables in the library after school hours. They originally broke in to study properly because Malia's father was being too loud while watching the big game with two other hunter friends.
They never asked each other out on a date or determined what they were. Willow just assumed Malia wanted to try something new. From what she learned, Malia recently turned back into a human after living most of her life in the woods.
The two would have ended up having sex if it weren't for an odd sound that snapped them out of their daze. It was an odd glitchy sound that made the library eerier than it already was.
"Should we leave or check the noise out?" Willow asked.
"I want to leave."
"Then, we'll check it out," Willow replied.
Malia stared at the back of Willow's head. She knew the right choice was to want to check the noise out, but she didn't want to. Malia sighed and followed after her.
The two walked toward the two computers in the back of the library. There were vines surrounding the computers, causing them to glitch out.
"Should we call Scott?" Willow asked.
"I think we can totally solve this on our own," Malia stated.
"Where would we even start?" she asked. "Is this even something - "
The computers let out a large wail. "GET OUT!"
"Did that thing just tell us to get out?" Malia asked. "I say we trash it."
A vine wrapped around Willow's ankle and pulled on it. Malia grabbed her before she could fall and she used her claws to cut the vines before the two ran away.
"Still want to solve this one on our own?" Willow asked.
"We should tell Scott."

The next day at school, people were groaning and walking slowly - like zombies. Beacon Hills's oldest tree had been cut down - not the Nemeton - and the tree took its revenge by growing weeds into the school's computer system. Anyone who used the school's WiFi or computers in the library would become infected. They would turn into groaning zombies that only wanted to eat vegetables.
Willow looked curiously at the other students as she walked up to Lydia. "Hey, Lyds, what's up?"
She didn't answer, her music blaring loudly into her air. Willow grabbed one of her earbuds and pulled it out, but a vine was attached to it and it pulled the earbud back into Lydia's ear.
