I slowly open my eyes moving my body as I hear the loud shake of chains. The chilling sound brings me out of my half asleep state as I perk up. I look down to see chains rapped around my neck, feet and tail. I whip around my tail trying to gain comfort in the extra weight. I hear loud bangs of cell doors opening, who could it be today. I think to myself as I hear screams and pleas.
"Please , please your highness, don't do this. I promise I won't do it again, I'll repay all I owe...just tell me how much and I'll work for it, I swear." I listen through the thick door, hearing the males voice break through out the conversation, before another voice enters my snooping ears.
"You wish to repay your debt...hmmm very well, I have just the price." The voice purrs a evil tone underlining every word.
"Anything your highness.!" The voice has a higher tone due to the chance of his possible survival.
"You just have to kill one tiny dragon." The voice lets out a sadistic chuckle.
"You can do that can't you?" He ask with a slight hint of sarcasm knowing he has no choice.
Please he can't do it. I think until I hear his soft voice through the cage door. "I'll do it..." I stop all thoughts at the realization. NO..!!my thoughts scream as I start to bang on the cell door frantically. They can't..!!. I try to breath fire, let out a roar, anything to stop him but a thick leather mussel is rapped around my jaws.
I hear another low chuckle even more sadistic then the one before, he better not. "Very well you know what one to bring in." I hear him say as the rough creak of a cage door lifting is heard and a roar fills the area.
I sit still listening to the cry's of pain, anguish and rage all in one as I'm forced to stay still. It's not until I hear the low voice speak again that I loose it.
"Okay you have got it on the ground, now finish it." The voice says with a demanding tone.
No...no...no!...NO!!
"Yes your highness." I hear the voice reply as I fight against the chains.
It's not until I hear the whimper of my baby that the chains that once restrained me are broken as if they never existed and the mussel snapped as if it was no more then a string of silk. I glare daggers at the door waiting for it to open.
"Well now that you got rid of the annoying baby how about you meet its mother." The voice says as it erupts in laughter.
"W-what."
The door slowly lifts revealing my pure white form, as my eyes glare into his. I look down to his hands seeing a bloody sword in one and the large head of my baby in the other. He lifts his hands in a defensive manor toward me as I walk out of the captive space, his sword drops to the ground and soon after he drops the head of my year old youngling. I feel something inside me break as the world goes black and all I hear is a loud scream, crunch and silence as I feel a warm liquid travel down my jaws.
~~~~~~~
My eyes burst open, look up seeing the large mans hand still extended to me. I feel the tears travel down my face, that felt to real...I don't wanna relive that, ever again. I think to myself as I push the hand away.
"What do you want? Why am I here? Who are you people?" I ask relentlessly, still refusing to except the hand being offered.
"I will gladly answer any and all of you questions, but a human body is not fit for this weather. Please come out and we can go inside." He says pulling back his hand, stepping to the side clearing a path for me.
I slowly drag my form out from the tower, as I do I now stand up straight. I look around me seeing the swords lowered, the torches aluminate the my surroundings. I look along the crowd seeing the faces of men and women as they look at me. I continue my curious gaze when it lands on a small figure, I see the tears resting in her eyes with the small amount of blood noticeable on her neck. I continue to stare at her when a something blocks my view, I look up meeting the gaze of a rather tall boy. He looks to be around Anthony's age...I think to myself as I see his hand move to his side, pulling back part of his cloak showing the sword strapped to his side. I glare at the boy knowing what he is insinuating as I turn away. I feel a hand place on my shoulder and I whip around, jumping back a small bit to distance myself. I look up seeing the large man from before in front of me hands raised above his head in a non threatening stance.
"Sorry, shall we go." He lowers his hands motioning in a direction. I walk past him in the direction, looking around at the crowd once again. What up with them. I think while taking note of their surprised expressions. It's not until I see a small strand of white cross my vision realization hits me. My hood..?
I reach back no longer feeling the cloth that I used to cover my head when I first put on the cloak. I look through the crowd again, the looks I'm getting are hard to decipher reading shock, admiration and fear. It didn't take much time being around Anthony and his gawking to realize my hair is seen as exotic and mysterious. I look over these emotions before I feel an arm rap around my shoulder. I jump and go to run but am held in place. I look up seeing the large man," we should go." He leans down whispering.
"Just let go of me." I spit at him as we walk.
"Once we're out of sight." He says as we walk inside a large tent out of sight.
The second we're inside I pry I his arm off my shoulder and distance myself from him. I look up to him now seeing how tall he is. Is he really human. I look up caught in a daze, "Are you going to keep starring or sit down."
I snap out of my daze looking down now seeing he's sat down on a large pillow. I look back and forth between him and the large pillow in front of me. Oooh... I take a seat across from him in the pillow. "You have questions...?" He asks as i look in his dark eyes. I see a slight gleam reflect in them and I'm hit with a strong sense of shock.
No way...
