I look into the eyes that peer into my own, I continue to stare with an unwavering gaze, still slightly shaken due to previous event. He turns his gaze away slightly as I see the colour flash once again. "Yes, why am I here?" I ask ignoring the obvious signs for now.

"We saw you being taken away bye people from the castle. The treachery of the castle personnel knows no bounds. Trust me." He turns his gaze back to me."We we're hoping to free you, thinking you've been captured due to your rarity." he says looking me over until resting his gaze on my white hair.

"Little did we know how much you would fight back. I've never seen someone fight back as hard as you did you injured three of my men." I look at him confused of his statement. I did what...?

"I can't say I have much memory of that. I remember hearing a noise from outside the cave, looking into the forest and then I woke up here. I just kind of put two and two together and figured the half breed and his owner didn't bring me hear." I say in a factual tone, even though I can clearly remember seeing glistening eyes. He looks at me with a almost regretful gaze.

"That's probably Bailey's fault. For the memory loss that is." I look at him waiting for him to continue. Who's Bailey..?
"The younger man that was glaring at you earlier. You were to much for us to handle without hurting you so he hit you over the head without thinking. I apologized or his rash actions."

"No need to apologize. I have a few more questions. Who are you people..?" I ask tilting my head slightly.

"My name is Kurt, I am the chief of this tribe. We are a group of traveling merchants." He says fluently as if resisting from a script.

"I see, I have one more question."

"Please speak your mind." He says with a peaceful smile.

I turn my gaze colder then before, glaring into his eyes before I stand. I don't know why I feel so comfortable with Kurt... maybe cause he's also not human. Walking over to him, leaning down staring in his eyes. I know these eyes.

"Why are a tribe of shape shapeshifter pretending to be travelling merchants." I see his feature drop as he stands, looking down to my form. He is clearly panicked and takes a small step back.

"And why have you been lying to me...?"

~~~~~~~~
Standing in-front of the large shapeshifter her features don't falter. The chief try's to decipher the cold gaze, being completely stumped. He slowly moves his hand to his side where a small dagger is strapped. Seeing the imminent danger she moves fast jumping on him. His form hits the ground as the smaller form jumps onto his chest placing her palm on his throat.
"Try that again and I'll use that dagger on you" she says out with a cold voice. She is surprised at how brave she feels and how she managed to pin such a large man with a pitiful human body, but Blake is even more surprised by the compliance as the chief offers no resistance. What is this? A large shape shifter like this could easily switch are positions.
Thinking over the situation a sigh is heard as she looks down to the man again, now seeing the shimmering eyes in there original state.
"At least you know when to stop denying you've been found out." Her voice comes out looking down to the now diamond like eyes.
(If needed visuals added picture at top)
She reaches out grabbing the dagger that had fallen to the floor, securely strapping it to her leather belt. The chief lay still on the floor as he snickers.
"Hmmm...and what would be so funny...Kurt." She doesn't bother to look back at his as she stands.
"Just the fact that a women is wearing such manly clothing, that clearly doesn't fit her." He says as he sits up no longer having the small weight on top of him.
"I don't see the humour." The girl says plainly as she stuffs some food in her bag, she turns to the exit looking outside the tent both ways.
"Where are you going." The deep voice asks from behind.
"I'm leaving, I know for a fact you didn't bring me here because you wanted to help."
She continues " I guess you could say I'm new to this life but I'm no idiot, I know bye your camp, your cloth and your previsions that you are some kind of run away." I've seen what desperation looks like.
The chiefs breaths hitch at the truth being spoken aloud. "That royal guard that came bye not to long ago, they were looking for you..."
He stays silent in fear of confirming the truth that has been spoken. "A dragon almost died that day, along with the head of a Redcap pride. Many more casualties as-well, I believe I also saw-"
"Enough!!" The voice echoes as the tent falls silent.
"You are definitely no fool, but that smart mouth of yours will end you in trouble. You know where are camp is and you know more then you should. You know what has to be done...you need to disappear."
~~~~~~~

He finishes his statement before jumping at me, shifting into the form of a large bear. I dive out of the way, getting up quickly I brake out of the tent and start running to the forest line. I break through the thick line of trees as I dash through the forest feeling my feet crunch against the cold earth as I continue to push myself forward. I pick up enough momentum I can't stop as a knocked down tree blocks my path. I fall over it landing myself in a cold stream. I look up seeing a familiar face, "Bailey." I stutter out as the young shifter looks at me.

"I told them to leave you, but they had this hole idea about trading you for are freedom. Guess that went down the drain..." he looks up at the night sky then back down to me.

"Get up, I don't want freedom this way." He grabs my arm pulling me from the stream. I shiver at the cold air hitting my wet skin. Damn this weather, damn these shifers, da-

Having my train of thought cut off as I feel a tug on the cloak tied around me. I look up into the young shifters eyes as he fiddles with the strings holding the cloak around me. "Bailey...what are you doing?"

"This cloak is the last thing they saw you in." He manages it get it off of me and I shiver once again at the cold.

"For crying out loud. Stop shivering and go hid over there." He points to a large tree trunk that appears to be hallowed out.

Nodding as I move to tree a few meters away, I start climbing in looking back as I see Bailey shift into the form of a small women. I thought only royal blood shifters could change to human forms. I think knowing the last royal blood was killed years ago, I look stumped at he ties the cloak I was wearing around his new form. He looks over to me and I hear a twig break, I quickly duck into the hollo tree as Bailey runs off as a rather convincing version of me.
